Buy this bird cage
Number 1. It’s solid wrought iron, not flimsy metal. It has trays around the cage that captures food ! It comes with 2 perches. It went together easily and quickly. This looks like a high end cage. I now have 2 of them and I’m so happy to have found for a good price. !

A really decent cage
I read allot of the reviews here before purchasing this cage. In my head, it was... ok if it doesn't work at least I tried it for the price point I'm getting it at... But the cage is lovely. The way the cage goes together, is like the cages in my local bird store, but already assembled. BUT I have a conure, who does not pull on cage sides, or chew on bars, or even who has the strength to disassemble something like this. For my bird, this cage works lovely, and the locking system is more than capable, with his last cage, he was able to open it. He's one smart cookie. With this he can't open the front, or the food doors. Things to take into account... The food dishes are on the right side, if you want to move them, buy different attaching dishes. There are small and large bowls, they can't be switched - the small bowls go on top and the large go inside the cage. The doors for the food and water close like they do so that a bird can't shake the bowl and take it out of the holder and make the food go everywhere (birds make food go everywhere as it is just eating normal, they're messy lovely creatures). There is no shelf, I knew this going in. The skirting isn't fantastic... price point taken into account. I'm not sure what is supposed to go on top of the top bar, but I'll hook something up eventually.

Good value for the price
Great bird cage for the price. I would definitely buy it again if needed. We are getting a cockatiel, and this cage is sturdy and spacious (larger than average), mobile (on wheels), and well-designed. The open play area on the top and the metal skirt around the lower perimeter (to catch debris) are great bonuses. The pull out trays also make it easy to clean. I predict possibly needing to add reinforcement to the doors to prevent our dogs or the bird from bumping them open, but it would be an easy fix. The only drawbacks are the following: 1) The assembly instructions are not very helpful. The close-up photos of the cage from the Amazon listing were more useful to us during the assembly, and we figured it out in about 30 minutes total. It was manageable. 2) Some parts were dented, but didn't interfere with proper assembly or cause too much of a cosmetic concern. 3) The top segment (roof of the cage and base for the upper play area) was a little faulty in that it pops into the four corners of the body of the cage during initial assembly, but one or more of the corners will pop back out and not fully snap into place. This is easily remedied with zip ties. Without zip ties it would still be functional, my only concern would be if the cage was knocked over, it would likely fall off and not keep the bird secured inside. 4) The main door on the front requires so little pressure to unlatch that a slight bump can unlatch it -- such as a large and curious dog's nose. I'm going to add a D-clip as a secondary lock. Overall, none of the drawbacks were major and did not detract too much from our satisfaction with this purchase. It's a great cage and I could not find another one with similar features at this low of a price.

Perfect!
I love this cage! I bought this cage for my cockatiel after her other one started breaking. I was looking for a larger cage that would last longer, and found this one. It is perfect! Not only did it meet those requirements, but it is SO easy to clean! The bottom tray sits well below the bottom of the cage, which seems to help. I love that both the bottom tray and the bottom grid slide out for easy cleaning. The stainless steel food/water bowls swing out, making it easy to clean and refill them. The large door makes it easy to take my bird in / out. The cage is sturdy and stable. When reading some previous reviews, there were reports that parts were bent when they open the box. I did not find this. All of my parts are in perfect condition. It was well packaged, with reinforced sides, edges, and corners. The reinforcesing pieces were both stapled and glued so they stayed in place. The strapping around the box was taped in place. Once opened, each piece was bubble wrapped. It couldn't have been better packaged! The written instructions were very unclear, and the English was poor, but i was able to assemble it quickly and easily from the pictures. I am VERY satisfied with this purchase. This cage is perfect!

Overall a great cage and good price 👍
What a great upgrade for my green cheek Zappa. He loves it! He's been living in a generic pet store cage for too long it was made of wire, a pain to clean with a flimsy plastic base and it cost me 110 a few years ago. I hated it! Build quality on this is great. Bars! Not wires! A really cool metal style finish that must be powder coating. The built in seed catcher works great as long as he eats near his bowl, otherwise hit or miss, but way better than nothing. 👍 It rolls around easy and I think it looks awesome. Directions could throw some people a curve. But the parts are self explanatory. All in all, happy bird makes happy me. 👍

Cage is nice enough. Terrible instructions.
The cage isn't terrible, but I will say it was smaller in person than it appears in the photos. The photo next to the woman is misleading, in my opinion (photo attached). The woman in the photo must be awfully short and thin (or photoshopped) or the cage is enlarged next to her, because my conure is only 6 months old and she is WAY smaller than those birds on top but takes up just as much space. The good: Once I found good instructions online, it was 10x easier and relatively quick. (Took me 45 minutes alone) The cage is relatively sturdy, but I wouldn't put it somewhere kids will be running around. It looks like a more expensive cage. It shipped really quick. Ordered it on a Saturday evening, had it on Thursday afternoon (the first day of estimated arrival) The bad: Flimsy materials. It looks nice, but if you touch, it bends easily. TERRIBLE instructions. No joke. Look at the photo. (Says "collected" instead of "connected" in most places) Misleading photos in regard to size. For reference, my pineapple conure is 4-6 months old, and she's on the back of my cage. Food/water bowls are WAY too deep for the size of birds that would fit in here, and the perches are way too thick for them. I ordered new perches because my bird was having trouble gripping these ones as they're way too big around. There are 5-6 different sized screws and it doesn't explain which screws to use for each step?? The cage gets 3 stars because it shipped fast, it LOOKS relatively nice, and it works for now. Wish it was more sturdy, and a bit bigger in the actual cage area. But I'll definitely be upgrading within the year, so for the price it's not terrible. Better directions can be found online. (Different brand, but the pieces are exactly the same)

Good value!
I bought this cage for a small cockatoo, a Little Corella. It makes him a nice sized home & helps keep the mess down. Easy to clean & I was able to assemble it without help in less than an hour. Written instructions aren't the best, but the diagram is fine. The only problem I have with it is the cup holders on top of the play area. There is nothing to keep them in & he was able to remove them. I just don't put them up there now, since I don't want to get a metal cup thrown down. This is a very minor issue. Nice home for a parrot of his size.

Get what you pay for
Edit 9-12-22-- This "company" is fraudulent in their cheap dangerous cage which is sized wrong. There is no way they aren't aware of it due to all the other complaints. What's worse is Amazon is allowing this and will not back their A-Z policy and make them pay for shipping on this defective item. And don't bother trying to work things out with "Lightning" because this fraud will try to talk you into selling this junk to friends and family. Listen to all of the 1 star reviews and go elsewhere, but regardless of what you do, understand Amazon will not help you. Edit 8-8-2022--- Upon further review, it wasn't just the flimsy sides that potentially caused the issue. As I was looking at the cage again since we still have a surviving sugar glider housed in it, I noticed gaps big enough to fit my fingers in on the front of the cage. These are above and below the door on the left AND right. I measured the gaps at .75 inches, with is obviously 1/4 inch bigger than the 1/2 inch space advertised for these cages and needed for the safety of my pets! I'm appalled and upset that these folks are still allowed to sell these cages with gaps that big. Im not the first buyer catching this! Imagine how my children feel now since one of the house cats killed our poor sugar glider after she escaped from this dangerous cage!! Ive obviously put in and was approved for a full refund and will never trust a cheap alternative when my family and pets are concerned!------end of edit Complete junk. There is a gap on the top of each side due to the sides of the cage not perfectly fitting which created a gap big enough to fit your finger through. There are holes to fit the side cage pieces together and they go too far into the holes creating the gap. Our new baby sugar glider escaped through it which ended in a tragic result. pay a little more for a sturdier and better built cage.
