REACHER Wood Grain Sunrise Alarm Clock and Sound Machine Nightlight

I got this alarm clock because my iPhone alarm kept deciding to not go off when I had early morning classes. This clock has been a total lifesaver and has helped my overall quality of sleep! There’s a lot of color options and you can easily adjust the brightness depending on the vibe you want. There are over a dozen sound options too! I use the brown noise before bed every night and it is amazing to take on trips if you need pink, white, or brown noise to sleep. You can adjust the volume to your liking so every aspect isn’t too much or too little. The clock display brightness can be individually adjusted as well so you don’t have to settle for the clock being too bright and the color being too dim. If you don’t want the light or sound on for the entire night, there’s a timer that goes up to 180 minutes so it can turn off automatically without touching your alarm! The sunrise aspect is awesome! The alarm sounds are not overstimulating or loud, but just enough to wake you up. The brightness does get pretty bright by the time your alarm goes off, but you can adjust the length of time you want the sunrise to start before your alarm. I have mine set to begin 15 minutes before my alarm, so it gets brighter quicker. If you had it begin 30-45 minutes before your alarm, it’ll take longer for it to rise. It’s a wonderful way to wake up in the morning and I highly suggest getting this clock if you wanted a cheaper alternative to the Hatch alarm clock!

I really like this alarm clock-especially for the money! I had originally looked at the original daylight alarm clock type brands but just couldn’t justify spending the price. So a few months ago I took the plunge to try this one. I actually purchased several to contrast and compare but once I tried this one I liked it so much I didn’t bother with the others and sent them back. Full Disclosure: I HATE being woken up by a startling sound and I also DESPISE daylight savings time, but I digress.😜 In my effort to try to get back to a semblance of the wake up with the sun routine, my test started. The first thing I noticed is that this thing is easy to set without instructions. It was surprisingly intuitive and I am pretty opinionated about my frustrations with such things on a regular basis! How my particular alarm works with a half hour sunlight routine: If my alarm is set for 7:30am for example, at 7am the clock will start the process of gradually putting out more light… a very mild glow that grows slowly over the next half hour. At the 7:15 stage it seems to speed up the process of gradually glowing more imbut again nothing startling, just an ever so slightly brighter warm glow. It never makes you jump or startle. I’ve never once gotten that feeling of someone coming in and turning on all the lights. At the actual alarm time, if you have chosen music to add, it starts. Eight options including birds chirping and roosters crowing are available options from which to choose. Surprisingly I chose birds chirping and like it very much although on those first few mornings when I was already at the other end of the house when the birds started chirping it was a tad puzzling. Mine is set on a 30 minute increase and you are able to adjust the light coming on from as little as 5 minutes to a full 60 minutes. I just chose 30 minutes as it made sense to me as a place to start. I was concerned this wouldn’t be harsh enough to wake me so set back up alarms across the room at first but have never had to use them. I wake up happier-not startled or grumpy-and it truly does feel more natural even though it remains pitch dark outside. Last but not least not spending the price of the original version of this names me VERY happy. Highlight recommend.

Love this! The bird song and the soft light is a nice way to wake.i also appreciate that u can make it 100% dark ar night by dimming the clock numbers.

This is a great alternative to the expensive ones, it gets done just what i need it to! Love the different lighting, and the sunrise wakeup is perfect. It has adjustability of just about everything (volume of alarms/music, brightness of time display, brightness of light and of the “sun”, etc). Also in general is just cute and simple. The only thing that surprised me were the actual alarm options, the sounds are quite strange. It includes chirping birds, a rooster, and things that sound more calming/lullaby-ish. I don’t love the alarm sounds, so i tend to use it for the sunrise, regular light, and as white noise for sleeping (they have a TON of options for that). Also has a timer feature which is super convenient for nighttime.

1000/10 recommend!!!! Exactly like the hatch but so much cheaper. It doesn’t have all of the features the hatch does but it has what you need- sunrise, alarm, sound machine! I have woken up so easily using this. Great sound options, easy to use, no set up. I also love winding down to the sounds at night.

My husband and I have issues waking up in the morning so we decided to give this a try, I am surprised how well it has helped. The light gets incredibly bright and is adjustable if you want it a little dimmer, even the clock light can be dimmed which is a big deal for someone who like a pitch black room at night. The sounds are fair though dont expect it to sound like a UE speaker, good selection of alarm sounds and sleep sounds. The light color can be changed, and there is a timer that can be adjusted to turn the light and sound off at night if you decide to have it on while falling asleep, the alarm starts the sunrise process about 10 or 15 minutes before the alarm and slowly gets brighter which helps us naturally begin to wake up even before the alarm goes off. It looks nice and is really easy to use. I would recommend this to anyone who has issues waking up with anxiety or panic because a loud alarm is going off suddenly ripping you from a dead sleep, it never hurts to try it.

I got this in lieu of a hatch because I wasn’t ready to drop $160 on an alarm clock that had cheaper alternatives like this one. So far it works very well. The sound options are good and the light works great! It gets bright enough I can use it as a light at night to read my book before bed. I love the red light feature and turn it on between snoozing my alarm in the morning. Has a 24hr time display option, dimming options for light and clock, volume control, and many more capabilities. Super easy to get set up. Probably not as sleek looking as the hatch but I don’t think it’s an eye sore by any means. Highly recommend if you’re debating on getting one but trying to save a few bucks.

Didn’t even last 3 years. Died in June. Bought late Sept 2023. Such a bummer. It is so great for those dark fall/winter months when you can’t get out of bed. Plus, the white noise options are fantastic. I guess for the price almost 3 years is ok?

My wife has issues falling asleep and this has helped her get to sleep quickly.

Really like this alarm clock. It’s easy to set up and operate. I don’t use the white noise options, but I love being woken by the sound of birds and a little light as I need to be up before sunrise everyday. It does the job and is reasonably price. Only downfall is, I wish it had a second alarm. That would be really handy on the weekends. My previous alarm clock had this function and now I don’t have it, I realise how much I actually used it.

I enjoy this clock very much. Despite the fact that I use an eye shield to sleep, I still wake up feeling relaxed with the sunlight and humming birds.

Works for me, its noise features are pretty good and has 12 sounds I think, a lot are different types of white noise and I found one I like (a bassier deep sound like a box fan). Its definitely bright and it has some other colors to chose from for a night light. Its fairly easy to setup too.
