Review: Realistic & Good Quality - Sometimes it is pot luck when you opt to buy fake candles but these were a pleasant surprise. They came well packaged and have the feel & look of real church style candles. I put some batteries in and placed three of the candles in a lantern as per the picture, the other two I placed in two more individual lanterns, they look excellent but when switched on and set to 4hr timer using the included remote, they come to life and look fantastic with a flickering and moving flame. They come on at the same time every day for 4hrs but you can equally set them to 6hr or 8hr timer or just switch them on or off using the remote control. I have had them a week now and they have functioned perfectly. I can’t say how long the batteries will last yet but obviously they will last longer if you switch them on and off when needed or set the timer to a lower setting such as 2hrs but I find the 4hr timer is ideal.

Sometimes it is pot luck when you opt to buy fake candles but these were a pleasant surprise. They came well packaged and have the feel & look of real church style candles. I put some batteries in and placed three of the candles in a lantern as per the picture, the other two I placed in two more individual lanterns, they look excellent but when switched on and set to 4hr timer using the included remote, they come to life and look fantastic with a flickering and moving flame. They come on at the same time every day for 4hrs but you can equally set them to 6hr or 8hr timer or just switch them on or off using the remote control. I have had them a week now and they have functioned perfectly. I can’t say how long the batteries will last yet but obviously they will last longer if you switch them on and off when needed or set the timer to a lower setting such as 2hrs but I find the 4hr timer is ideal.
