Baggallini Women's Plaza Mini

I just got this purse, it's 8.5" wide on the outside, not 9" like the description says. I needed at least a 9" wide bag but I didn't want something too big so I bought this. Only 8.5". I thought, well, when I open it it will widen a little and give me at least 9" ...no, it doesn't. There's no depth to this bag at all, it's very very slim. Inside there's even less than 8.5" of width.It's not usable for what I had in mind but it is a terribly cute little bag. Good for teenagers with phones and maybe a few other small (and slim!) items to carry around. I figure I'll give it away as a gift, I really like it too much to return it.I got the blue, dark blue -whatever, it's shiny but not too shiny. Well made, 3 or 4 extra pockets outside and inside. This bag won't last a lifetime but it should hold up minimum of a year or two with regular use,,,that's just a rough guess, can't say for sure. But then again it only cost $20.

I already have a brown one of these, and I wanted a black one so I could have a more formal look when necessary. Plus, my old one is starting to look a little worn. Style changes cause me to lower review from what would have been a 5 if this had truly been the black version of the bag I love.Cons:1. What happened to the awesome 13 inch strap that could be a wristlet strap or a regular one??? I don't really like using the cross body strap much, but the 13 inch strap was perfect,and had the bigger clasp like the long strap does, on one end (the other end was attached). It was a great handle, and could even fit over a shoulder, and the '50s-style elbow hang was super convenient. No longer possible with the new design.2. The new bag is about 1/2 inch shorter on the long side than the old style. This means that everything is pretty tight in there. You wouldn't think that such a small change would make a difference, but I use a galaxy note 5, which is a big phone, and it fits perfectly in the front zipper pocket of my old brown plaza mini, but everything is tight in the new one.3. Too much interior fabric. I had to cram the extra fabric folds down in the front main pocket under the magnet snap. Annoying. Interior fabric on my old one fits perfectly, so no extra folds or catching of fabric when you pull stuff out of the bag.Pros:1. As this bag is a slightly smaller, it fits a little better in my baggallini backpack purse that I use on weekends, when this little bag becomes my wallet in the bigger one.2. The black does look very nice, and the light interior is a must to see anything inside any black bag.Neutral:1 The rings for the straps are sideways now behind the zipper, rather than on the very ends, which doesn't seem to make any difference.2. The top zipper ends at the end of the bag, rather than the old style where the zipper had the extra tag length. The old style allows you to open the bag fully, without any zipper strain, but so far I have not noticed any issues with this.I got a good price, and I will keep this bag because it's still better than other wallet sized bags out there, but I really wish they hadn't changed anything.

I am a big fan of the Baggallini line of bags and purses and in my mind their designs are in a class of their own - sturdy, practical, stylish, sporty and modern looking. If you want a small, compact mini purse that has multiple compartments and is very sturdy, this little purse will make you happy. Notice: it is small and will not magically expand to contain multiple large items (like sunglasses and a large wallet and your cell phone) so you will have to be mindful of what items you need to carry along - compact storage is the idea here. I am able to fit a normal sized folding wallet, my iPhone SE, two small sets of keys, a pen, a Chapstick and very small supplies of eye drops, aspirins and a half dozen credit size cards. The bag allows for some stretch so you can fit things in tightly, but not a lot. I like this bag enough that I also bought one in beige for the summer.

This bag is about the size of a business envelope, so it's tiny! I bought it in the Dolphin color and I love it! The shoulder strap is nice. I wish that the Everyday Bagg that I also purchased had that same strap. The wristlet strap is a pain the neck but I just unhooked it and tucked it into the main compartment to get it out of the way.Despite its size, it does hold quite a bit. There's a small zipper compartment beneath the flap that I use as a change purse. The compartment with the flap can house my car keys or a pair of glasses. The zipper compartment above the flap houses my iPhone and ear buds. The main compartment houses credit cards and other papers and the interior zipper compartment houses some lipstick and bandaids. The back pocket isn't much good for anything else except receipts. I found it too shallow for anything else.I "test drove" this on a recent vacation trip and it functioned really well. My passport fit perfectly inside the main compartment and it was easy to find when needed. Unfortunately, I needed to fold my airline boarding pass to fit it into the main compartment, but that was no big deal. The bag fit easily into my carry-on bag.I stashed my hotel key card in the top credit card slot and did not have any issues with it getting demagnetized. I like using it as a cross body bag and with the its small size it does not get in the way of anything.

Already have this bag in the Black Cheetah pattern and have used it almost daily during the Fall/Winter the past couple of years. Decided to reorder it in this pattern when I received a Gift Certificate. This is a great little crossbody bag to carry the essentials (keys, phone, cards, cash, etc.) while at the same time keeping it all organized. In addition, it has the option of using the wrist strap. Based upon the durability of my other Baggallini Plaza Mini, I expect to get just as much use out of this one.

I love this bag! I purchased it to use for two purposes: as a wallet inside a larger purse (Baggallini of course!) and as stand-alone bag when I am using the diaper bag for our Granddaughter. As a stand-alone it works great with the long strap to wear crossbody and my hands are free to handle a toddler. It holds all my wallet cards, keys, iphone 6plus...the essentials to carry. I would recommend this if you want to carry the basics and be hands free. The ONLY reason it didn't get five stars is my sunglasses don't fit in it. But I can live with that.

I really liked the size of this purse. I will be using when I go on vacation as I don’t like to carry a large purse.

Very tiny, but great for just running around town with minimal things to carry. Well made as per usual of baggallini.
