Dell Latitude 7490 Business Laptop, Intel Core i7-8650U, 16GB DDR4 RAM, 512GB SSD, 14" HD (1366x768), CAM, HDMI, Windows 11 Pro I also purchased an extended Assurion warrantee, an external DVD/CD rw drive, and other items for my project because I believed I would receive a working computer but one without a r/w disc drive. Per Alexa it has both Bluetooth and WiFi. It arrived looking like a new computer. That really is impressive. It's overall appearance does betray that it's an older model but for my purposes that didn't matter at all. I liked the specs and believe if it had worked, its speed and performance would have been fine for the offline project for which it was purchased. It had sufficient memory to easily handle the necessary tasks and sufficient ROM to store a small library of medical images. I liked that it had a fast and sturdy SSD. The problem is that it doesn't work. The charger's green light comes on but the small white charging light on the front of the computer lights up for about a second or perhaps less then turns off. It doesn't work. I don't have the time to try to rehabilitate this item. It did arrive on time but I needed it to work when it arrived. Now it has harmed my project. I contacted the seller per instructions from both Amazon and seller. I received a canned computer response that provided only for return with significant delay for all remedies. I had hoped to work out a solution that involved a very quick replacement with return of the nonfunctional item and its replacement passing in transit. There is no real customer service other than a shipping label and the prospect of refund at some point. I responded to it but there was no reply. I don't know if I can gain a refund for the Assurion warranty. It may just be a big waste of my money specifically because there's no option for me other than returning this worthless computer and finding another elsewhere. I can't afford to risk a repeat performance with such poor customer service. Those who are both able bodied and have time sensitive need for a working computer might be better served if they bought locally and used a credit card that protects them financial harm. Because of the great extra expense and personal inconvenience and harm of this totally non-functional computer, I would give it negative stars if such a thing were possible.

I am very satisfied with this purchase. I was able to configure it to my specifications, and everything seems to be fine. The only reason I did not give 5 stars was due to the lack of number keypad as was in the description.

Received quickly works fine I’ve not had any difficulties whatsoever! It looks practically new. I am very pleased with my purchase connectivity has been fine. Performance has been fine. I ferl it’s a good value for the money.
