Smooth Away worked much better for me. My upper lip hair took longer to grow back, and it wasn't as coarse when it grew back. This shaver does a very good job of giving a close shave, and the product itself does what it says it does really well. I won't dock stars for performance for this reason. It's just that I don't really care for the results. My upper lip has had acne and more black hair since using this. But when I want to occasionally use it on my face it causes red bumps and I have to apply first aid ointment to reduce the irritation.I couldn't believe how well this product worked and was truly PAINLESS!!!! It quickly eliminates tiny sideburn, mustache hairs and peach fuzz easily and efficiently. I only have to utilize it a couple times a month because it does such a complete job. I don't dread the task like I used to!!!I clean it after every use, per the directions and can see the the tiny hairs and peach fuzz that has been eliminated.
