The chocolate is about to expire

I purchased two Taza Dark Chocolate bars, one was the Sea Salt & Almond, and the other was the Toffee flavored bar. The Sea Salt & Almond squares did taste a bit chalky, as some reviewers have stated. When I shaved the dark chocolate and used it as a topping for my cashew ice cream, it really made the dessert come to life! I'd recommend using the Sea Salt & Almond chocolate to enhance desserts or trail mix. The Toffee flavored bars have a smooth consistency and excellent flavor. I enjoyed breaking off squares of this bar to have as a treat by itself or enjoy with a cup of tea.

Just the right amount of intense chocolate flavor with a touch of sweetness and crunch. I think this is my new favorite chocolate bar. All that and organic too. A bit pricey but worth it for a small treat.

I'm a fan of milk chocolate and have been slowly trying to find vegan alternatives to my sweet tooth. I've seen other vegans say that dark chocolate can be really good and this seemed to have ingredients that I figured would have thrown it into that category. Let me first say for being dark chocolate... This isn't terrible. But I'm not a fan of a true dark chocolate taste, so this isn't my cup of tea. If you like dark chocolate I think you'll like it though. The packaging left a little to be desired. Was packed with a book and it got chocolate residue on my book... This is definitely only for dark chocolate lovers.

I would like to give this less than one star. I opened the chocolate the day it arrived and offered it to guests… big mistake…the chocolate has a very light color and tastes bad despite being a year under the “best buy” date. Amazon doesn’t allow returns of the product. Very disappointing. Don’t risk buying it!
