A risk with 'compatible' capsules is that the plastic pod structure is not strong enough to hold up to a Nespresso machine. Sadly that was the case with this sampler pack. I had two main issues with my Nespresso Romeo: (1) The machine would occasionally fail to puncture the plastic at the top at all (1/5 times) (2) The foil at the bottom of the pod would separate from the plastic (3/5 times)The Caffitaly Desico capsules worked the best of the various brands, followed by Indie Beans Guru. The Cafe Alloro Tondo and Barrie House Sumatra capsules were disappointing. The Cafe Bonini Ritretto were the worst: I gave up.With 'compatible' pods I expect at least a 20% failure rate, normally the foil separation issue. This was more like 80%, which is too bad because when they worked the coffee was actually pretty good. These taste pretty good. Not quite as good as the Nespresso brand, but still tasty. I like that you don't smell any of the coffee when you I open each box, so they are well sealed. They fit easily into my machine. I also love the idea of sampling one type of coffee from different companies rather than getting a bunch of varieties from a single company. I prefer the bold flavor, so this was perfect for me. My favorites in this sampler are the three Italian brands. And the price on subscribe and save is great too! ### ⭐⭐ Poor quality pods.
