These have met and exceeded my expectations. The design is subtle and stylish and could be incorporated into a variety of aesthetics: modern minimalist, mid-century, bohemian or desert. No assembly required, very responsible (i.e. minimal) packaging, easy to install. They're light but surprisingly sturdy. Ideal for apartment living with restrictions on cosmetic damage or alterations, or for those who love interior design but aren't super-adept with hardware/carpentry/the business end of things. My only call out is that the wood has a sort of manufactured-looking finish (not much natural character) and the color is cooler and grey-er than indicated in the photos. But they'd be a breeze to stain!

I purchased some other shelves before this but I didn't have a drill or proper measurement tools to install them. I decided to purchase this and used a picture hanging kit instead and it worked wonderfully. Came ready to hang and is easy to balance!

Shelves are very cute and functional to place some small decorations on. The quality is good using real wood and they aren't cheap feeling. They look perfect above my bed!

for the price you pay these do the job, very worth it for less than $20. no assembly required, sturdy, can hold a lot of weight on their own, however the hooks you are using might be more susepctible to issues with weight. i always used command hooks and they seemed to be able to hold their own. very functional and easy transportable, were perfect decoration for my dorm room and always got ocmpliments, not that big though, so it really is only decoration, i wouldnt buy it if you want to be able to store anything say beyond a candle and maybe a small potted plant on it
