Excellent Quality Heating Element
The part worked exactly as expected. The installation took about 45 minutes in total

Worked like a charm
There were several good reviews here which were helpful to me as were the videos available online. The part is a clone - there is no part number on it and very slight variations in insulators etc. but it fits fine - so if it lasts a long time then it is a good clone. Took me about and hour to install as others have said. Like others here I was upset that my dryer stopped working after 2.5 years. The element was burnt out, and the metal base was burnt and cracked from the heat. There was lots of dust inside the machine. My machine vents through a very long vertical run (20ft) to the roof so it is hard to check as the vent cap on the roof is welded on. I pulled some lint out with my hand but not enough to block the flow of air. I then took my shop vac and placed it against the vent opening and sealed it to maximize vacuum. A block of lint about 9 inches long came out - mmmmmm - obviously I could not blame Samsung for this. I had failed to properly check the vent when I bought the house. Lesson learned - next time I will make sure there is warm air coming out of the roof. I also probably should have wondered why so much dust built up behind my machine even though hose connections are tight. Also wonder if I could have seen longer drying cycles as a hint. I think Samsung could create a cheap sensor that detects back pressure or excessive heat build up and shows an error message??? And why in this age of HEPA filters does so much lint get through the system of brand new machines??? Part was cheap and is working fine.

Do It yourself in about 30-60 minutes.
I found this link to a video from a parts supplier, and it was perfect to guide me through the steps to replace the heating element: repairclinic.com/RepairHelp/How-To-Fix-A-Dryer/8-160-1420453-/Samsung-Dryer-doesn-t-heat-DV219AEWXAA All you need is: 1) Phillips Head Screwdriver 2) Needle Nose Pliers 3) Flashlight 4) Shop Vac (to clean the inside of the dryer in order to keep the heating element free from lint build up). My Samsung dryer was working normally, but was blowing cold air. This video (see link above) guided me through each step easily. Just keep each set of screws separated as you take the appliance apart and it will go together much easier without having to guess which screws to use next. It took me about 30 minutes in total to fix this appliance and I have never taken a dryer apart before. Very simple procedure, but you need to be careful not to cut your hands on the very sharp metal heating element housing. Work slowly and methodically and it is a simple procedure the average person can handle. It was obvious that I needed a heating element when I pulled the old unit apart. The main plate had broken, as well as the coil. When I started the dryer up for the first time after repairing it, there was a very acrid electrical odor from the heating element's initial heating. Be sure to open a window while the heating element is heated for the first time to aid in household ventilation. The part itself says "made in USA," but I have my doubts. I do not believe this product is OEM, but it works just fine. I ordered this product on a Thursday at about noon, and it arrived on Monday afternoon via the US Postal Service. No issues, product is "as advertised." Works great. No issues. I recommend it, and the shipping company for prompt service. There is another video on YouTube that takes the heating element housing out from the back of the dryer. Don't do this. It's much easier to get at the heating element from the front.

Good quality and genuine Samsung part.
Genuine heating element that occasionally burns out but worth replacing versus buying new.

The part worked great, Fedex however not so much....
I consider myself pretty handy, if something breaks down in my house I try to fix it myself first (unless is under warranty). so when the dryer broke I searched on youtube for videos on how to diagnose and repair a samsung dryer. found one, took the dryer apart, found what was wrong and ordered the part, so far so good right?. of course the dryer broke down at the worst possible time and I had a ton of laundry to do, so being a prime member I selected the two day free shipping option, this was on a Thursday, so it was supposed to arrive on saturday. Saturday came and went and no part came so I checked online to see what was wrong and then called Fedex, they told me that my parcel probably got stuck somewhere on a conveyor belt at their facility and that someone over there would have to visually inspect the facility to look for it. Sunday came and went, nothing, called again and at this point they said that this facility is CLOSED on sundays and mondays and that someone will be looking for my parcel on tuesday morning. The part finally arrived tuesday, it was the right part, worked great, saved a lot of money, but it seems to me that if a Fedex facility will be closed on sundays and mondays (which BTW I had no idea) somebody should inspect all the conveyor belts before last delivery on saturdays so that stuff like this doesn't happen, that's their motto right? "the world on time"? it took them 5 days to deliver a parcel from Tennessee to Georgia.

Just received and replaced this original product from Amazon on Samsung DV203AES/XAC (Dryer). I looked at the video by tallfarmboy named "How to Replace Samsung Dryer Heating Element DIY Step by Step". Couple of suggestion before you start working on this project. a) The edges around the dryer are very very sharp and if you have bare hands, you will likely cut yourself. Please wear gloves on both hands. b) Before you disconnect any wires, take a photograph with your phone so that you know how to connect it back together. c) Thoroughly clean up the dryer of all dirt and lint before you close the dryer. It will save you a lot of trouble later. Specifically, remove the lint holder (only requires 3 screws to be removed) and clean up the air flow unit. d) Once you remove the heater assembly, you will most likely find a lot of lint and dirt on top of the heater intake duct. Do clean it up. Bottom-line, do a thorough clean up before you box the unit back together. You will increase the lift of the components.

Exact match for my Samsung dryer. Easy enough to replace, just need a Phillips screwdriver, unplug it and start taking it apart. Look on Youtube for some instructions. And may as well bring out the shop vac while your at it!

Whether or not it is Samsung part...it is likely to fail. Samsung is synonymous with junk. Previously bought this part in dec 2018. 2.5 years after original part failed. Now, 2.5 years later (give or take a couple months) I am replacing again. The price is right. Itโs easy to change, and better than paying too much for a Samsung OE party that will fail as well. I am so thankful we are getting new appliances...getting rid of all of our Samsung dumpster filler and moving on from repairing appliances annually. Maybe Samsung should stick to phones that spontaneously combust... 4 stars...arrives quickly, much cheaper than the parts locally that take longer to arrive.

I'm so glad to habe my dryer working again. This was the first time replacing the element in my 13yr old dryer and I was able to replace it myself with the aid of a youtube video. It's been 5 days of continuous clothes drying and so far so good. At first there was a strong burning smell but that is gone now. It must have been dust and residue that was on the new element. Overall I am very happy with this product and will update if it fails. (Photos:This is the kind of dryer I used this element in)
