Spice Paste for Singapore Laksa, 60 g, Pack of 12

I like my laksa a bit spicy, but this is great for my elderly parents who like less "zing". Smooth, coconutty and flavoursome, for a very quick laksa fix.

Easy, tasty and quick - absolutely no complaints. Suggest using home made stock instead of water (made with a veggie stock cube, simmered with bruised ginger, garlic, lemongrass and chilli until flavourful), a full can of coconut milk and garnishing with blanched bean sprouts, mangetout, red pepper strips, fried onion, cooked prawns and chopped coriander leaves/spring onions. We used to visit our local oriental food hall for laksa, this is just as good and much cheaper!

Make your own Laksa at home - easily and quickly. The paste is good and strong and creates a delicious aroma across the kitchen. Easy to make and tastes delicious - whats not to love?

A good flavoured paste with handy size to make 1 meal. Shame the price has gone up bu £5 in the last couple of months. Laksa is one of my favorite comfort meals so will have to see if the price comes back down.

I use this laksa paste all the time, but I do mix it with red curry pastes to increase the heat a little.

I have been really pleased with this Laksa paste as I use a whole sachet to make my prawn Laksa for two people. It is so much better than buying a jar, the contents of which are too much for one meal, and end up not being used again before the expiry period. The family love it!

Nice enough but needed more kick (a bit two dimensional). It definitely needs extra chilli for more of a kick but I would also add more things like ginger and maybe lime and coriander to give it more depth. Good as a base but hovering too close to bland for my taste.
