I bought this for my husband and he loves it . It’s nice and big , and has the folding , adjustable legs which is perfect. It has a nice smooth wood finish and is light weight . The surface is very smooth . He uses it for watching TV in his recliner . It has a slot for tv remote and his phone . . Well worth the money and delivered on time :) . Perfect ! So happy we have Amazon lol :)

Durable good quality not heavy, wood no smell.

I use this desk as my primary workstation when working from home, I had been using a smaller bamboo breakfast tray but after one of the handles broke off, I needed to replace it. I couldn't be happier with this one -- it suits my needs perfectly. PROS: - Nice and big! The laptop in the picture is a 13-inch, and as you can see, I have plenty of room for it and other items, like a drink, a notepad, my phone, etc. - The asymmetrical lip is perfect for laptop use! My previous tray had a 1-inch lip all the way around and it made my wrists hurt to type on the laptop for long periods. The low-lip in front prevents things like pens from rolling off, but it's lower than my laptop's thickness, so it doesn't inhibit typing. The tall lip in the back allows your phone/tablet to sit without fear of going overboard. This is my favorite feature. - The tablet/phone lip is nice! My previous tray didn't have this and I enjoy keeping my phone propped up. Plus, that allows for more surface space for other stuff. - The color and texture is lovely! I really wanted a white one and this makes my area feel clean and fresh. Plus, the paint is very smooth and seems like it'd be easy to wipe down. - It's STURDY! Maybe because of the increased size, but when you grab the handles on either side, it feels very solid and well-built. I get up and sit down and never worry about my cup spilling or anything. CONS: - Somewhat heavy. The flipside to my sturdy comment above, this thing weighs a lot more than my previous table. Not a problem for my usage, but it's definitely less portable. If you were moving it all over the place, you might get irritated with it. - Imperfect corners. As you can see in the second photo, the back corners have spots where the paint did not completely seal the tray area. I think this is only cosmetic however, as again, it feels so sturdy. I'll update this review if it breaks in the future. - Legs don't stay folded in. If you pick up this tray by the handles, the legs will hang down a bit. This might make it a little annoying to set down and move around if you're doing that a lot. - Strong paint smell at first. Like others have mentioned, as soon as you crack this thing from the plastic it does have a strong chemical paint smell. But I just left it by an open window and it dissipated in under 15 minutes for me. I don't even consider this a con personally, but I know some people are very sensitive to smells so I thought I'd mention it. So yeah. To me, the cons are all nitpicks, and overall I am really pleased with this table. It's improved my workspace a lot and I am confident it'll last several years.

I bought the stunning Espresso Bamboo version and I was so excited and ready to love this...however, I was disappointed and ended up returning. I think the quality and sturdiness seem fantastic and I love that these have foldable legs, the tray edge, and section for other items (i.e., phone, tablet, etc) and this is really a distinction in comparison to many other options out there so I hope your take away is that you ought to get it if considering purchasing this. However, its unfair and misleading when companies do this - why on earth depict an item that isn't the same as the one you're actually selling? Unless there was a mistake, I genuinely do not understand or agree with their idea of selling the Espresso Bamboo version with this nice warm glossy wood tone shown in the images only for a dull, dingy ashy brown that's more like black to arrive. I hope I got an incorrect one. Thankfully I didn't realize how large the Large version really is (not too large you can't use it on your lap but it was just too big to be comfortable for my use on a couch and I'm sure it'd be fine if you wanted to use it as a tray in bed or on a counter) and so I was returning primarily due to a size preference but also largely in part due to the inaccurate photos of the true color/tone. I will be purchasing the Medium option in Espresso Bamboo again and hope for a better experience because I think this is a very affordable and luxurious option out of its competitors but I hope that the seller sees this and rectifies the mistake in the poor ashy brown that shouldn't be this way. If I receive the other version and keep it I'll take a photo and readjust my review. Overall I still think its worth purchasing and is a great option but if you, like me, had wanted the warm glossy brown, I would instead opt for another color until they fix it

One daughter has the cherry wood, one has the white. Everyone in the house wants one now! One we have had for a few months, the other for a year, and they have stood up to my not so gentle crew--unlike other wooden or plastic ones. The ridge in the back holds a phone or tablet or pencils, and the lip prevents things from rolling or sliding off. If using for drawing or writing extensively and you fear the lip will be uncomfortable to rest on, just buy some adhesive foam or pipe insulation from the home improvement store or buy a wrist rest used for keyboards. I would like this to be a couple inches higher, but beyond that I have no complaints. I'm going to connect three of them: cut off one side edge and corresponding legs of two of them on either end of the three, and both side edges of the middle one (leaving legs intact), connecting them beneath using little flat braces that cost under a dollar apiece at the home improvement store. The middle one's legs will give adequate support along with the two outer legs, yet this will fold neatly to slide beneath the long sofa in order to pullout for playdough, kinetic sand, small puzzles, coloring, legos, toy cars, Jenga, and other things for our youngest (as well as for the restbof us!) to have room to spread out or simply room to share. I was going to make a little table, but wood is expensive and heavy, while hardware for hinged legs is also expensive, so this is actually more convenient and quite economical xompared to making myself from scratch. For another family, probably just cutting the edge and corresponding legs off of one, then the edge off of another (but keeping legs in tact) then connecting them would be more convenient, and this would slide beneath a love seat.

I originally purchased this because I like to work while sitting on my bed, so I needed something that brought my laptop to a comfortable height. It turned out to be a lucky purchase, because the week it arrived, I came down with COVID and was hardly able to get out of bed for a week. I used this desk CONSTANTLY--to help me sit up and eat more comfortably, to keep my water and medicine accessible since I sleep on a floor futon, to raise my laptop so I could see the screen and watch shows while lying down, etc. It really does everything I need it to. I was a bit worried it would be made out of poor-quality wood or particle board or something, but it seems to be solid wood and it certainly smells like natural wood, which is absolutely delightful. The color is lovely too. It was definitely worth the price, because I'm going to be using it for a long time!

Perfect!! I ordered the XL. I purchased a size L before and it was really small. I ended up using the L for my lap top. This one is much better. Plenty of room for your plate and your drink . With room to spare ( maybe dessert!!). Love it

I absolutely love this tray! I really struggled after reading reviews on TONS of trays. Reviews were all over the place. I am very happy that I settled on this one. It is very well made. Heavy duty but not heavy or cumbersome. Color is very nice and did not have issues with it rubbing off when cleaned. There were no rough edges or splintered wood. I have been using it several times a day after breaking my leg. No issues at all. Legs stay up but are also easily closed and opened. It's a nice size. Has room for dinner plate, cup, napkin and there is still plenty of room. I also use it to work on laptop while off of my feet. The lip on the edge prevents dishes from sliding off but is also comfortable when using laptop. Price was reasonable and order arrived quickly. (2 days) Was well wrapped & protected in box. If you're looking for a tray, I would recommend this one 100%.

Got this for mother's Day. Love it. Has a great little groove at the top for holding an iPad to read/watch while eating breakfast in bed. Sturdy legs and handles. Perfect if convalescing.

This table is great!! Look no further - buy this table. It arrived in perfect condition. It is lightweight and very sturdy. It’s spacious surface provides room for whatever you need. I especially love that it folds flat making it easy to store.
