After doing a lot of research on tonneau covers, I quickly discovered that there are thousands of options and that some of them are pretty pricey. After looking at the retractable models (priced well north of $1400), I decided I would rather stay married than get one of those. I opted for the Truxedo Truxport based upon the combination of price and user reviews. The product came quickly and was well packaged in a single (long) box. The product was complete and installation directions were well written and easy to follow. I also found several helpful installation videos on YouTube. My son and I were able to install it on my 2021 F350 in about 45 minutes. Installation was pretty simple and required only a 1/2 in wrench and a pair of scissors. I was very impressed with the quality of the rails and the cover material. The cover stretches very tight and looks great on the truck. No adjustments were necessary. Shortly after we finished the installation, we were hit with a very powerful summer thunderstorm with wind driven rain. The rain lasted for over an hour. After the storm passed, I went out to see how the cover did. There were a few drips but, on the whole, I was pretty impressed. I would say there as less than half a cup of water in the bed. Bear in mid that the truck was not moving so performance may not be as good with the truck running down the road. I will post an update after a few months to discuss how it performs over time. I did note that the rails do cover the stake pockets on the sides of the truck so if you need those for anything, this might not be the cover for you. First Impressions: Pros: - The price point is hard to beat - I paid $299. - Ease of installation is excellent - Quality of workmanship is impressive - Full access to the bed of the truck with the cover rolled up Cons: - It is a soft cover and will not provide much protection for your gear. Update 9/29/2021: Well I have been driving the truck with the Truxedo Truxport installed for a few months now. I have driven at interstate speeds in heavy rain (including Hurricane Ida) and I have to say I am pretty impressed with the performance of this cover. Very little water gets into the bed even in driving rain. I am very pleased with this product.

Easy to install. Good fit. Very satisified

I've had this on my truck for roughly 25k miles now. Never had an issue with it in the wind, rain or any environment. It does allow a very small amount of water into the bed on a hard rain but maybe only a cup worth in a down pour. No real locking system but it isn't able to be opened with the tailgate closed and has never once bounced open during travel. The velcro can be a bit of a pain in the cold but overall good bed cover.

I put off covering the bed on my F-350 for way too long. With the long bed you're looking at eight feet of box to deal with, and I figured any cover worth having would be a drilling-and-cussing kind of afternoon. This one wasn't. The TruXport is a clamp-on, no holes drilled in the truck, and I got it mounted by myself without needing a second set of hands. The clamps are the part that won me over. They've got a ridged, almost toothy edge that grabs the bed rail instead of just pinching it, so once you tighten them down the rails don't shift around. No wiggle when I tug on them. The cover material is heavier than I expected too, a thick vinyl that feels like it'll take some abuse and not the thin stuff you get on the bargain covers. Main thing I worried about was the velcro letting go in wind, especially with this much surface area. It hasn't. I've run it at highway speeds and the edges stay sealed flat, no flapping, no peeling up at the front like I figured it would. Couple things to know going in. It's a soft roll-up, so you're not stacking gear on top of it, and it's vinyl, not a locking lid. If you want a secure vault for tools, this isn't that. And with any soft cover, the seam sealing in a hard rain is the thing to watch, so judge that part for yourself over time. For keeping the bed out of sight and rolling up fast when I need the whole box, it does the job well. Glad I finally bought one.

I bought this as a replacement cover. It was easy to install. Like other covers in this price range the clamps can become loose very easily so periodic tightening is a must. I just spent $1400 on a hard cover for my new 2026 truck and I wish I had just bought another one of these because it’s waterproof for the other one is not, you won’t go wrong by this cover.

I had one of these on my last truck and I absolutely love it. It's easy to install easy to roll it up and roll it back on. I don't believe I will ever buy a different brand. And now I have one on my new truck. I know it'll last longer than my truck so the only way I'm buying a new one is when I get a different truck

I bought a new F350 Long bed and it fits perfectly. I had one of these on an F250 I just sold so I decided to put another one on this truck. The one on my F250 was about 3 years old and it held up good in the snow and sun for 3 years. When I sold the truck the cover was working just like it did when I put it on. Because I had put one on the F250 I had this new one installed in less than 45 minutes. One suggestion is: They give you a foam strip to put on the top rail of the bed next to the cab before you put on the aluminum side rails. Place the foam strip on the inside of that rail closest to the tailgate rather than the outside closest to the cab. One other point: This sits on top of the rail so it will raise your side rail at least and inch. Not important for most, but I pull a fifth wheel with and use an Anderson hitch so I can easily adjust the height of the hitch so I can get 6" of clearance between the 5th wheel and the truck. You may have less clearance if you use a conventional hitch. I am not certain about that but worth a tape measure look before you buy this.

Had tried numerous covers from other manufactures and they would not fit my truck. This one fit like a glove. I installed in less than 15 minutes. Looks great. Read reviews where people did not like the two latches. I have experienced from previous tonneau covers that I have owned with one latch and this is a better locking mechanism, Highly recommend. Very Happy with this purchase.

if i could give this a zero i would, Truxedo's lackadaisical customer service is atrocious. ordered this tonneau cover, it was delivered with the end caps broken, i called truxedo customer service explained and gave them the serial number, they sent the wrong parts, i called again, send pictures of what they sent and what i needed sent pictures of the manual with highlighted parts, 2 weeks later no parts i call today they said they'd ship TODAY, WTF. Called amazon to find out under the circumstances if they'd extend my return window incase the parts are wrong again, they said NO . i made 2 phone calls to them and spoke to supervisors each time, now i have 2 days to expedite shipping to get my return 600.00 bucks. plus amazon said they'd only reimburse up to 150.00 for the return shipping, complete BS. I've always been pro amazon but this is crap. **update** courier did NOT pick up package now my return window is closed. so thought i'd take one more stab at Amazon after explaining my long disappointing experience he says well i'll just EXTEND my return window by 30 days...train your people!!!! lets just hope he wasn't blowing smoke up my A$$. now we'll see if they refund me .

Fit my Ford F-150 8 foot box 2002 perfectly

Easy to install but just the adjustments for the spring near the railgait was kinda hard to adjust. It is not like the video from YouTube shows.
