Haha! I love this! As a left-handed handyman, I didn't realize how handy this really would be. FINALLY the numbers are right side up! I think it was initially meant to be a gag gift, but I use it all the time and it really is well made and useful. Great gift for us lefties!

I’m a Left handed tile setter and I acclimated to the metric system for my work 20 yrs ago. Never could find a L/H metric/imperial before this one. This tape is no big name, fancy pants tool, it’s relatively cheep but works excellently. I bought 3 a few years ago, expecting to get a couple months out of each. I get thinset on them, drop them, bend them around corners. The worst damage is one got rusted and is not as easy to read anymore. I came to order a couple more. Well worth the 20 bucks vs 35 to 50 for big name brands …. One of my most favorite tools. Sandra's husband.

I got it about a week ago and I’ve used it pretty much every day. It’s a nice tape measure. The good: 1) The tape itself is nice and sturdy. 2) It’s seems built well. 3) It has both metric and imperial. 4) The bright makes it easy to locate in my garage. I don’t have any “bad”, only a couple suggestions: 1) On day 2 of wearing it on my belt, the screw that hold the belt clip came loose. You may want to add a dropper two of thread locker. 2) It’s great It has both Metric and Imperial. Please add the fractions to the imperial side. My $2 16 foot HF tape measure has fractions listed :-) 3) Please make a 12’ or 16’ version of this tape! I spent way too much time trying to find a 12’ or 16’ tape measure for lefties without success.

I finally found it. The last tape measure I'll ever need. I was so happy when I was finally able to hold a tape measure in my dominant hand, pull the tape out, and see the numbers right-side-up. I just kept opening and closing it over and over again. Then, when I finally used it on a project, I realized just how inefficient I had been for years with the right-handed tape measures. One fun perk is that the clip is on the correct side for lefties, so we can grab it off our left hip and use it without having to use our superior dexterity to flip it around. This is a must have if you are a lefty who measures things.

I bought this for my dad because he is a left hander. He loves this tape and wishes he had one a long time ago. I find it handy for a right hander too. My right hand is always holding something place, so my left hand is the one I grab my tape measure with the majority of the time. My dad said it is dang sure a shop tape and not made for banging around in a tool box though.

I was so excited to find a left-handed measuring tape. I have gotten used to doing many things right-handed, but using a measuring tape right handed was something I just could not master, although I have gotten pretty good at reading numbers upside down. This measuring tape solves that problem, and it even has the belt clip on the correct side for a lefty. It works fine and I look forward to using it. The problem, however, is that the quality is somewhat questionable. The image on Amazon would lead you to believe that it is a metal chrome case, but it's plastic. It looks expensive, but feels cheap and it is kind of a letdown. The best way I can describe its quality is that of a novelty item, and not a serious tool to be used for many years. This is unfortunate, because as a lefty I expect products that are geared towards leftys to be similar quality to a "regular" product. Having said that, I think that had I paid $10 or $15, I would think of it as decently valued, but as it stands I think almost $30 (including shipping) is really very overpriced for this product. I hope that it holds up, but my expectations are not high.

One gripe of many tape measures is that they work well for measuring long boards, but do not work well for making marks with your right hand. For woodworking, a left to right tape is much better because I can use my right hand to mark the wood. This tape is made well, has a great rolling mechanism, tested to be perfectly accurate, and the smooth plastic shell is friendly for setting it on a nice workpiece. I removed the metal clip, love it.

Love this tape! I've spent most of my life standing upside down to read measuring tapes. Now, finally, able to read one like normal people. What a pleasure. Can't wait for a right handed person to ask to use a measuring tape and watch them try to read this one! Ha! Seems like good quality, easy to use and read. Never realized these existed, what a treat!
