This tent did amazing on our camping trip! It was spacious enough for us to fit a queen sized air mattress in it and still have enough room for my dog’s mat & our backpacks/fan. I think this is the perfect size for 2 people with room or 4 people just to sleep in with no extra space. I love that it has a rain tarp & little lip over the door. It did rain a couple times and it kept us 100% dry! You can detach the rain fly and have a complete mess roof to star gaze. It came with a couple pockets on the sides which were perfect for holding phones or water bottles & a little detachable mess “shelf” at the very top of the tent was perfect for our glasses or lightweight things we didn’t want to break. It was super easy for us to assemble & take apart. This is a great tent overall!

Please, prior to leaving a review, do everybody, including yourself, a favor by setting up the tent at home before you go camping, or whatever you're plans for it might be. Make sure all the components are in the sack. Make sure it's easy for you to set up. The tent was a piece of cake to set up (I read the instructions). First time took maybe 15 minutes for the tent, another 6 for the rain fly. It's windy today and I got the tent up by myself, but the rain fly was a 2-person job. The rain fly pole goes into a sleeve along the horizontal edge of the front of the fly (over the door). It'd be great if the sleeve is rust colored like the tent sleeves, but no, it's the same blue as the fly and tent, and not in the least obvious. Honestly, I dunno all that much about tents, but in my ignorance, to me the fabric seems thin. The bathtub floor is nice and tall. I'm gonna put either thick neoprene sheeting or a tarp inside to keep from damaging the floor. And then another tarp underneath for floor protection and rain. The door zipper is 2-way - but NOT "smooth," and wants to zip onto the rust-colored rain edging. We put some liquid dish soap along the zipper - it's better, but you still need to watch that it doesn't grab the edging. There was a 4 inch piece of thread near the height of the door zipper that wanted to catch in the zipper. DO NOT pull any threads, always snip them off with a pair of scissors. The last thing you want is for a pulled thread to start unraveling a seam or catch in and muck up your zipper. The window zipper is easy and smooth. There are NOT "built-in zipper windows all around." The only zipper window is in the door. The "snag-free continuous pole sleeves" are NOT snag-free - they catch on the silver pole sockets. It's not a big deal, just a matter of being aware. The obvious 'NOT' is the Shape being "square." Five and six lines down in the full description is stated the width is 9 feet and the length is 12 feet (accurate). Not sure in what universe the tent is manufactured, but 9×12 is not square. Just fyi: we're gonna Scotch Guard the heck out of tent. Incorrect descriptions aside, it seems like a right decent tent. I'll update next month once I've camped in it.

I like this camping tent because it's spacious, but the zipper is poor quality and constantly gets stuck when opening and closing.

I had not gone camping since I was a kid, so I wasn't really sure on which tent to buy. After doing a bit of research, I settled on this little guy. It says it fits 3-4 people, but I would say it's more of a two person tent for comfortability. I guess you could have three adults in there if you didn't have any bags with you, and each person used a single sized mat. My roommate and I camped in here together with her using a twin-sized air mattress, and me using a single sized mat (width of a sleeping bag). There were maybe 3-4 inches between them. We camped two nights in a desert area with pretty high winds both nights without anchoring down the tent or the rainfly. The first night we got to the site pretty late, but were able to set up the tent in minutes, and only secured the rainfly with one of the two velcro latches (we didn't notice the second one until the next night). I had practiced setting up the tent beforehand, by myself, and it's super easy. The winds were probably somewhere between 15-30mph. Without fully securing the rainfly down, it stayed on both nights, to my surprise. On the second night, it rained briefly, but we stayed dry. I can't say how it holds up in constant rain. It was a bit warm at night, but with the front window open, and the winds, it kept the tent a pretty nice temperature. I had trouble sleeping, though, because of the whipping of the tent. I will say, the next morning, without either of us in, and it not being secured down with wind blowing, it didn't blow away (I really thought it was going to!). After this campsite, we camped in a more forested area, and secured everything down with the stakes (the tent and the rainfly this time). There was quite a bit of wind at first, and the tent didn't budge. It stopped by night, and the temperature dropped a lot. We were definitely cold, but that is expected in a tent. As for size and weight, I was able to pack it up in my suitcase (it was actually smaller than my beach chair), so that was a huge bonus. I was flying back from where we were camping, so the compact size was perfect. I'm not sure how it would do in a backpack (as it advertises for hiking), but it was a decent size. Overall, after using it four nights, in wind and a little rain, I'm happy with the tent.

We bought this tent for our family of 3: two parental units and one 5yo. I am it a huge fan of camping especially given my previous experiences with a 2-man igloo tent. I told my husband I will not go camping with a tent in which I have to get dressed lying down. Enter this tent. Pretty easy to assemble with two people. We did buy a tarp to go under it. The body of the tent is huge part mesh - no privacy without the rain fly. The rain fly reaches quite far down and the tent has no “windows” except in the door. I am not a huge fan of the door: it is attached at the bottom and has a zipper going only in one direction. As far as space goes, we could fit two Coleman camping cots on the sides and one twin-ish blow-up mattress and still had room for stuff and to walk around. It’s tall enough for my to stand up in (5’8”) but not for my 6’5” husband (but then, what is?). When it comes to waterproofness and durability, I don’t know since we only camped one night and it didn’t rain. Overall for the money it was worth it, but I would not suggest it for a party of more than 4 people if you value comfort and don’t sleep like sardines in a can.
