Five stars for the Gyorgkshi 78-inch snake tongs grabber! After owning it for a year, I finally used it today when I heard a hissing sound in my yard and thought a pipe was leaking. Turns out it was a rattlesnake! I jumped back, grabbed this tool, and it worked perfectly. It’s super strong, easily picked up a heavy rock first, then let me safely grab the snake right near its head. The long reach kept me at a safe distance the whole time. Saved the day! Super sturdy and ready when I needed it. Highly recommend keeping one at home.

Purchased this and another sturdier pair of tongs and snake hook to remove a Copperhead from our catio. Didn't get a chance to use it though. Snake left before delivery but this seems sturdy and long enough to do the job intended, though we'd have used this along with the hook , if necessary. This hook has a claw to hold the snake. The hook doesn't. Seems easy to use. Highly recommend. Collaspes to smaller size.

I have to wrangle Moccasins sometimes because of where I live and this makes it much safer. NOW... I live where there are lots of venomous snakes and have a great deal of experience safely relocating them without one of these...DO NOT play with hot snakes if you dont know what you are doing. I got this to make it safer and less stressful on them to relocate the animals further into the ranch and away from my house instead of killing them. IF you are just looking to mess with snakes, I recommend you dont. I got this because of where I live to safely relocate venomous snakes. It works well and you can humanely grasp the animal without hurting it from a safe distance and using a hook can place the animal into a safe container to relocate it but again...I dont recommend this for novices.

These GYORGKSHI 60” Snake Tongs do a great job reaching distant spots, and the collapsible design is super convenient for storage. Just a heads-up to other shoppers: the build quality isn’t the strongest, and a few other customers have noted they feel a bit flimsy. If you’re using them lightly—like for small garden tasks—they’re fine. Just be cautious with heavier or slippery objects, and you’ll be good!
