In fact the authorโs amicable yet knowledgeable science backed information assures me that taking care of me is a good thing. I have always been a list maker. I smiled when I read that it is o.k. to change your goals (even write them in pencil). Horn points out, โUpdating your goals isnโt abandoning them.โ I especially enjoy the โprescriptionsโ that accompany each pillar. The โprescriptionsโ are easy to refer to when you seek a reminder about what you have read. It is evident by the examples provided in the book, that the author practices what he advocates. โLiving Wellโ is a common sense, science based plan that empowers the reader in a realistic way to improve the way one thinks, eats, moves, sleeps, hosts and stays well! Review: Certain Help for Making Positive Health Changes - Sometimes making the positive changes I want to make in my life seems like a really overwhelming task. The great thing about Mr. Horn's book is his approach makes taking those steps seem possible. I love how he describes the research that supports often common sense healthy living choices. As I read, I realized that he often sites research that explains in really easy to understand language what is wrong with things I already knew had problems - but had no idea why they were problematic. (For instance, what BPA actually does in my body - and in the bodies of my great grandchildren!) I found the graphics for his "prescriptions" to be very helpful and find myself going back to those particular pages to quickly remember what was important about what I read earlier. But my favorite thing about this book is that for the most part - it written from a positive perspective. Not so much about what is wrong with people's health - but what really straightforward things people can do that are RIGHT.

This is who you want to read!
I had the great pleasure of meeting the author and talking with him about this book and his views, and I can tell you that he is the real deal. He's got the right background (education, and real world experience) to speak the truth on this topic (which is essential because many so-called 'health experts' are not). Perhaps most importantly, Greg is just trying to help people live better and feel healthier. It's a great read and easy to follow. Highly recommend.

A Good, Positive Read!
I received a copy of this book from Netgalley in exchange for my honest review. I really enjoyed this book. I thought it was very well written, informative, and very positive. It is a step by step book that everyone can put into action in their own lives. I highly recommend.

A Practical Roadmap to Living Better
Greg Horn has done us all a service with this book. Well organized, thoroughly researched, and inspirationally written, Living Well provides a roadmap to a higher quality of life. More than than, and what I liked the most, is that the book provides the reader with principles we can apply to help navigate everyday life that is increasingly fraught with chemicals, distractions and bad practices. If you're trying to figure out how to live better, buy this book. I bet yours will quickly look like mine...with many pages underlined and highlighted.

I love this book
I love this book! (and have already bought additional for boss' day, birthdays and will be ordering several more for Christmas.) I am a working mom and although I strive to be healthy, I don't always have the time to research some of the simple things I would like to know about living a healthy life. This book has done all the research for me and presented it in an easy to understand format, with enthusiasm and quick reference "prescription" recaps in each chapter. It's understandable and simple and well supported...exactly what I need! Thank you!!!

As a healthcare provider and businessman in the wellness space ...
As a healthcare provider and businessman in the wellness space, I've grown tired of the misinformation and confusion by all the so-called experts that have entered the space. Thankfully, Greg Horn has hit a bulls-eye with Living Well. This is life-saving information presented in a simple, but spirited way that is accurate and actionable. It is a standout work from a wellness expert who has a passion to help the masses with his unique knowledge and skills. Read it and learn what it means to live well.

I'll be buying this book for my family and friends!
Another great book by Horn. What I liked is that he has done all the research/information gathering for me on topics that really matter to my health and wellbeing. I just bought more copies as this will be my "go-to" gift for the holidays. It is a great read for anyone wanting to live a "well" life. And, it's written in a way that it can be a great reference book to keep and read again!
