I do not write a review lightly. I can recognize quality when I see it!. First of all they were individually wrapped and well protected. The quality of these pieces is just incredible, gorgeous! and the attention to detail is fantastic. A set of this quality has to run in the hundreds of dollars. I don't think you can find anything this good at this price. I set them up on the chess board in my living room and they seem to be the new center of attention. The size and weight are perfectly balanced. I just LOVE them. I think they will last for a very long time. To be honest I think they overpassed my expectations. when I bought them and I saw that they were coming from India I was wondering how long it will take to make them all the way to the US, to my surprise they arrived in 2.5 days! How on earth! BUY THEM! You will be glad you did.

The set I got was pratically flawless - if I was going to be a bit of nitpicker - the castle tops needed to be sanded a bit more to match every one of the other pieces. Color and finish and weight was amazing. The Knights are some of the niceses knights I've seen in that price range.

Heavy decent quality with good packaging. Only a couple of slight chips on black pieces.

Missing 2 knights, both kings, and extra queens. 3 pieces were badly chipped.

This set is AMAZING. Arrived individually piece wrapped. Complete with the Green carrying bag. The Knights in the set are simply STUNNING! All the pieces are nicely weighted - One of the main reasons I ordered this particular set. I've got one set now for Tournament play - and will be ordering a second set for my "living room" board also.

This set Looks wonderful. It looks like a luxury set. The pieces feel heavy especially the knights. Nice felt at the base of each piece. Not paper felt but fabric which is more durable. Should last for years. I look forward to using them. I would recommend.

Very solid, weighted chess set. Very difficult to knock over. Very detailed. This is a large set with a large base for each piece so you must pay attention to the the dimensions of the pieces to make sure they will fit in squares on your chess board. I really love this set.

Excellent set. Still look and feel great after a few months, and weights are perfect. You'll need a big board to go with them - 2-1/4" or 2-1/2" squares recommended. 2-1/8" might be okay, but 2" is definitely too small. Well worth the price.
