SharpQT-CD280(BK) Portable CD Boombox with AM/FM Stereo and Aux Input, Black

I took batteries out of another boom box but the Sharp wouldn' work. We tested the batteries they were dead. New Amazon batteries, go figure. The Sharp worked great with new batterisrked great with new batteries. Compact with a very good sound quality for it's size. I ordered the Sharp because of it's name. It didn't disappoint me and it's blue.

Bought this for the kitchen, where I don’t have much space and only need adequate sound quality to listen to the news or a recorded book as well as a little music.This little guy is more than adequate for the purpose. The radio has very strong reception for public radio in our rural area—don’t even need an extra antenna, which is lucky b/c there is no provision for one! And the sound quality definitely rates the 4.5 stars others have given it.

I bought this in hopes of having a better radio, but I can barely get any stations. It's cute and the CD player works well, but you can't get weather updates with a CD player.

CD player will not work anymore. This unit sat on a shelf and was never moved. The CD spins but doesn't get read. Tried about 5 different CDs to make sure it wasn't the discs. There is no support for this product, can't contact the seller or amazon. Avoid this at all costs
