Burr Coffee Bean Grinder Electric, Adjustable Burr Mill with 16 Precise Grind Setting for 2-14 Cup, Silver

I had been using a blade-type grinder with fresh roasted beans and had a bit of trouble finding a consistent procedure to arrive at the cup of coffee I wanted every morning. I switched to this burr grinder and, after some experimentation, arrived at the settings that satisfied me. I make a single cup of pour-over coffee each time. No larger batches, even though that is easily possible. Experimentation had indicated that, for me within the single cup pour-over scenario, the grinder’s “number of cups” forward facing setting wheel needs to be set on 4 cups. The other setting wheel, on the side of the machine, needs to be set at the one o’clock position. Then I place beans into the bean reservoir at the top of the machine and push the start button once. The grinder does the rest. I boil water in a kettle and transfer that water to a goose-neck little pitcher that has the exact capacity of the cup from which I drink the finished coffee. That water passes through a paper filter and a stainless steel fine mesh filter holder that rests upon my coffee cup. I only do pour-overs, and the above produces a cup of coffee that I like. The adjustability of this burr grinder allows you to find the specific settings that will wind up pleasing you. Make sure you get every bit of finished grind from the clear receptacle before moving on to the brew process, as grinds can adhere to the inside surface of the receptacle’s black top. This has been a reliable, durable, and easy-to-clean burr grinder. I wasted my time with blade grinders. I should have purchased this machine sooner.

This is an incredible product! We’ve used it every morning for several months and love it. It is compact, inexpensive, and precise. The dials feel much more expensive than the price would indicate and allow you to set the exact quantity and grind needed. Highly recommend!

This is an impressive, sturdy & versatile coffee grinder . Simple to use, Settings are convenient & it washes up easily . We make our own Nespresso pods with Starbucks coffee & prefer a fine grind. I couldn’t be more impressed. I love it

Our Cuisinart died and I needed a replacement. I have been happy with this one so far. One pro is that it will grind the coffee fine. A con is that it will ONLY grind the coffee fine. The coursest grind is only a tad coarser than for ideal espresso and not great for metal filters. The grind is quite even. Grinding is fast and quiet, but the bean hopper isn't very big - maybe a little over a cup.

This is a must have if you love fresh ground coffee. The stainless steel finish looks out standing and is stylish addition to any kitchen. The function settings are easy to read and it allows you to create your own personal coffee to your desire. I definitely would recommend this product

I ruined my OXO conical burr by rinsing it with hot water, shorted out electronics. Could not get another quickly online, so I tried this one, as it was delivered next day. Seemed to work OK the first time. However, the next few grinds were just not the same quality, very inconsistent sizes. And the coffee taste suffered. I also did not like the amount of powder that stuck to everything plastic. It was messy and recommended to be cleaned after each use. I took my time and found another OXO conical burr grinder, which works perfectly for us. Seems like a company wanting to do good.

Works great

This grinder is moderately successful but doesn’t seem durable due to the grinder plates becoming dull. I’ve had the grinder for about a year and ground whole beans maybe once or twice a month. The grind started out pretty consistent for the first few months. But then it became more and more erratic grinding, resulting the ground coffee being from very fine to pebble sized grounds. I kept it clean between grinds per the directions. I recently took a much closer inspection and found the burr plates to have been worn to rounded cutting edges. Also top plate vibrated loose durning longer grinds, visibly tilted and loose mid-grind. I burnished the cutting edges of the removable top grind plate and that helped considerably for a few grinds but quickly got dull again with large chips and coarse sand consistency of the ground coffee. Couldn’t remove or access the bottom grind plate. My conclusion is that the grind plates do not keep their edge in the process of grinding. They get dull quickly and that results in vibration and uneven sized grounds. The quality of the steel makes a difference in how long the burrs stay sharp. And the lack of a straightforward means to get at them to touch up the cutting edges is key to this grinder’s performance for me.

Todo funciona como debe ser y para lo que debe ser, pero deja café regado por toda la encimera y alrededores, mientras está moliendo está saliendo café volando hacia afuera del contenedor y al momento de quitar el contenedor para vaciarlo, cae mucho más. Además que tiene demasiada estática y el cafe termina pegado por todos lados. Yo la compré para la oficina y definitivamente lo llevo a casa, aquí es más complicado estar limpiando cada que quiero hacerme el café.

Funciono bien al inicio y la calidad del molido fue buena, despues de una semana la calidad del molido empeoro un poco. Dejo de funcionar a los 2 meses de uso, se trabo el selector de grosor del cafe y dejo de encender, parece ser que el motor se amarro. No la recomiendo.

Si creo que es un buen producto, por eso confirmé el pedido. Solo un detalle: nunca lo recibi.

No puedo remover el colector de café pese a seguir las indicaciones del manual, me podrían indicar cómo hacerlo o en su defecto devolverlo?
