These are awesome. Being able to turn the lights on and off from your phone is reason enough to get these, especially when you have a bunch lamps like I do. I don’t have to worry about fishing the wire out from behind the desk or something to hit the switch, I love it. Both the brightness and color ranges are great. The response time of the physical lights was surprisingly fast. In other words, you can see the changes you’re making on the app reflected in real life basically instantly. This makes fine tuning really easy! The set up is really easy: -Download the app (and give it permissions for like location and “home” data, don’t like that but I guess you have to, whatever) -screw in the light bulb and turn on the light (it starts blinking after a few seconds) -the app will then pick up its signal and they connect. -then through the app, connect the light to the wifi. (I think you can also do it through Bluetooth which I haven’t tried yet. that would be another W for this product) -then you’re in and can start changing the lights through the use of one of two separate color wheels. One color wheel is standard RGB (RBG? You know what I mean) stuff). The other is for the temperature, so the more standard light shades. THE APP: The app does the necessary stuff in a pretty intuitive way that works well. Like it’s really easy to pair the lights and adjust the color. Doing slightly more complicated stuff is a bit more tricky though. I see some other reviewers talking about the app being annoying and I can kind of see why. If you want to make it so that the light bulbs all change in unison you need to create a “room” then a create a “group” and assign the group to the room. Which isn’t terrible, but I could definitely see like my mom having trouble with it. Once you figure that stuff out you can basically do everything that you’d assume you should be able to. Overall great value for the money in my opinion. A pack of 4 for less than $30 is really good for me. I did just buy these recently so I’m unsure about how long they’ll last or if they’ll suddenly stop working. But from what I’ve seen from some other reviews this company seems to be pretty cool and will replace them if it’s reasonable.

When I first bought the bulbs, they would once in a while disconnect and I would have to set them up again (I had them turn on and off via power switch). It was frustrating, but the seller reached out to me and offered improved replacement bulbs. Time will tell if they are better but I do appreciate that they tried to fix my issues.

[UPDATE] I had previously left a negative review indicating that these bulbs had become highly problematic within a couple years of purchase, as they would no longer reconnect to the app and stayed permanently in pairing mode no matter what I did to pair them. Lightinginside reached out to me and offered two replace two bulbs at no cost, as they said their team had recently optimized new versions of the bulbs. These paired extraordinarily quickly and without a single issue. Presumably, these are the new bulbs going out today for new consumers. Given the optimized product and the fact that the company cared enough to actually reach out and correct the issue, I have revised my review to 4 stars. I am subtracting just 1 star because the issue occurred in the first place and my fingers are crossed that their bulb firmware (or whatever the issue was) does not become corrupted in the years to come.

I've had this brand for a few years now. The earlier bulbs just worked. But these new bulbs (with white color in kelvin and not percentage) do not follow any assigned schedule. I've tried trouble shooting, tried connecting them to 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, bluetooth. This is across multiple bulbs, multiple sizes, all new. They will not, under any circumstance, follow a programed schedule unless the phone is attached to the same network when the schedule is trying to execute. This entirely defeats the purpose of setting these and forgetting these. If I could return the older ones, I would, because now I have to re-buy an entirely different brand.

OMG These lights were so easy to add to our smart home via the SmartLife application. I put them in and they immediately went into setup mode and then very easy to add to the application and Alexa. I had purchased another brand less then a year ago and they were terrible to setup and all four have stopped working already.

It is a quality smart bulb. It is successful being everything a smart bulb should be. Easy to program.

I've had a very hard time finding smart bulbs for my ceiling fan. The glass cover doesn't leave enough room for most of them. These fit, if only just. They are plenty bright enough and I keep them at around 60-70% while up and about, 10-20% at night winding down. I had zero issues connecting them and getting them grouped in the app. I actually like the app enough that I might see if my other smart bulbs work with it and replace them if they don't.

Love this! Inexpensive compared to others. Needs no costly, new hub to connect. AND...BIG BONUS...it connected VERY easily to Alexa. WorksGREAT!
