Bought ready for climbing trip. Good value especially as there are two whistles . Can attach to lanyard or keyring. Well made . Haven't need it yet for an emergency so cannot comment on true volume but seems loud enough when trying it out.

A solid and simple design that should be very strong and reliable. It's very loud so should be heard from a long distance. The strap is just about okay. The clip let's it down. It's not very strong. An emergency whistle needs to be there in an emergency and I'm not sure the clip is up to the job. Can't fault the whistle though.

Can't really give item any less than 5🌟's It's a whistle, although not as sharp or as loud as I had expected, after reading description. It does the job to be fair. I use it in a large gym hall, that's got a lot of noise with badminton going on. I was looking for a lightweight loud whistle and was not too bothered about quality. I am a Scout Leader and at times we have activities in forests with dense trees. I needed a whistle that could be heard from some distance to gather the group. This whistle does the trick just super. The only downside is the colour of the cord that comes with it.
