Is this lcd or led? cause under "display technology" it says lcd but under "compare to similar items" it say led

It is LED - I'm not sure why they're saying it's LCD. The images are sharp and clear - but this monitor has no external speakers - you have to either use headphones or attach a remote speaker.

Does it come with a connector cord/hdmi cable?

It actually does come with HDMI-to-HDMI and HDMI-to-DVI cables. Other cables may be required to complete your connection (such as DisplayPort for Surface Pro).

Can you remove the base and use the monitor on a dual screen mount?

Yes, it ships detached from the base. I attached it to a monitor arm/mount without any problems.
