I was unsure about Period Swimwear, but was pleasantly surprised. Our daughter was going to have her period while we were on vacation and we did not want her to miss out on going in the ocean or pool. We ordered these in hopes that she could still participate. I was pleased that they covered her appropriately. They held up and did not leak at all when she wore them. They were easy to was and dry. I would recommend them for any girl needing an alternative for when she is on her period. My daughter said they were comfortable. For reference, we ordered a small. She is 11 years old, 5’4”, and 110lbs.

I wore these to a water park, I didn’t swim in them, but I did ride water rides, first day on my period, I was heavy so they lasted 4hrs. The last ride I’m not sure if I got to much water on them but they started to leak, it was a water/red so not the full blown period coming out, not sure why the inside of these are different from the high waisted ones which are completely sewn in, this set was not- it had the thick part but you could put your hand under- it wasn’t sewn in, but I wore these. I’m 110lbs, 5’ 4”, I usually wear 0-2 in shorts and pants. I could’ve gone with a medium but the large still fit and didn’t fall off when wearing. There wasn’t next day delivery on the medium, small, so because they were not a prime item I went with the large because I didn’t have time to wait until the middle/end of June for these. Also I wish the extra padding on the inside went higher in the front, they barely cover in the front, but the back covers more, I wish they’d wrap the pad from front to back then I’d say 10/10!!

The size fit true to size, but the material and look was awful. The trim was a completely different fabric, not the swim-type nylon. The pad was 100% visible from the front and the back before it even got wet. Once it got wet in the water, it hung down, the pad was much more defined, and looked like 🐪toe. It was so bad. I wish I could return these. I will spend the money to buy the real brand next time. I'm so disappointed, I wish I could give it 0 stars...

I bought these for the function and the price was more favorable. So far not disappointed. There are other brands a bit more expensive so I was hoping these would work as advertised even though they’re cheaper. My daughter just got her period this year. It’s on the lighter side and she’s worn them twice now during her menstrual cycle. No drips, no embarrassment. She gets to enjoy pool parties and beach. They do run a little bit small. She’s 5’5 and 125 lbs and usually wears small bottoms. They’re snug but ok.
