Women's Summer Satin Maxi Cocktail Dress

Love this dress!!! Perfect fit 5'6 149lbs. Lots of compliments. Cute with gold shoes. True to size. Comfortable and lose so could enjoy the evening. Great quality for the price. Loved the color!

I was afraid it was going to be too long because I’m pretty short and the length was PERFECT. I didn’t experience ANY satin clinging. It was so flattering and I will be wearing it to the next wedding I attend in sept. The color was what I ordered but was a little different than I expected but I still loved it. It will show sweat or lotion or anything but I had a little handheld fan and it dried SUPER quick when I did get hot (because it was an outside California wedding in August). 10/10 recommend!!! Also I genuinely feel like it would be flattering on every body shape and size. The satin didn’t emphasize the belly button hole (if you know you know) or cellulite. Great material!

I got two colors to see which I liked best and one came used with splotches of makeup on it. So my first impression was not great. HOWEVER, I steam the yellow one, wore to an event and got so many compliments. It was comfortable and looked classy. I wish I had gotten a full body picture but you can at least see how it looks up top. Included pic of the other color which I obviously returned but I would still give this dress a try.

I really was surprised by how much I like this dress, the fit was great even to hide a small mama pouch. Color was true and just very elegant. The cons: the fabric catches/runs very easily 😔 I wore it to church today and by the time service was over I already had a run on the side (I’m sure it was my kiddo). The satin is also not breathable so the smallest amount of heat and humidity had it sticking to my skin. You’d want a skip except it’s a summer dress. On the fence about buying another to try again in slightly cooler weather and for an outing without the kiddos.

The dress is a beautiful print and good quality at a great price. I ordered the blue print and I am very happy I did. I am 5'5" and currently weigh 165 pounds. I got a size medium which fits me just right. The dress is true to size with no stretch. I recommend this dress which is versatile and can be worn to casual and more formal outings.🎉🎉🎉 Addendum: I added a photo!

Update: as promised I am updating to add pictures and add how comfortable the dress was. As you can see in the picture the sizing IMO was perfect in the medium. The dress was so comfortable!! The material was PERFECT even on a hot and humid cruise in the Caribbean. Our butler got us reservations to a secret speak easy and my husband and I danced the entire night and the dress didn’t disappoint. It flowed and stretched with even the deepest of dips lol. Please do not hesitate if you are considering this dress just take the leap you won’t be sorry!! I bought this dress for an upcoming cruise to wear on formal night in the light blue color. I am 5’3” and I fluctuate between 135-140lbs. Amazon sizing recommended a size S due to my purchase history. I bought a M after reading other reviews bc I get self conscience if something clings in the wrong places lol. The M fits perfectly giving me the perfect amount of room without clinging (and I didn’t try it on with my spanx which is a huge score) or having the shoulders look out of place or the arm pits extended past my bra line. The fabric feels really nice and seems like it will give the perfect coverage without needing a slip. I think it’s going to be extremely comfortable as it’s soft and flowy. I will update my review once I have steamed it and worn it on our cruise but I think this is going to be a no-brainer go to dress. I think I will definitely be buying more in different colors/patterns for other occasions. If you are on the fence about this dress I promise you won’t be sorry just take the leap and add it to your cart.

I had high hopes for this Silk Summer Wedding Dress, but unfortunately, it didn’t fit as expected, and I had to return it. Here’s my experience: Fabric & Quality: First, the silk material was absolutely stunning. It had a beautiful sheen and felt incredibly luxurious, which made me excited to try it on. The color was as described, and the design seemed elegant and perfect for a summer wedding. The fabric felt soft and lightweight, ideal for warm-weather events. Fit Issues: Despite following the size guide and measurements carefully, the dress did not fit well. I usually wear a size medium, so I ordered that size, but it was way too tight in the waist and loose in the bust. I had hoped for a more tailored fit, but this dress just didn’t flatter my body shape. The bodice didn’t sit correctly, and the skirt was uncomfortably snug around my hips, making it hard to move or breathe freely. Sizing Inconsistency: I’m honestly not sure if it was a sizing issue or if the dress was just poorly constructed. Even after adjusting the straps and trying different ways of cinching it, the dress just didn’t sit right. I would suggest that you size up if you’re in between sizes, or maybe even consider trying a different style altogether if you have a similar body shape to mine. Design & Comfort: While the design was elegant and simple, I did find that the dress was slightly stiff, likely due to the silk fabric. It wasn’t as comfortable as I’d hoped, especially for a wedding where you’ll be wearing it for hours. The length was fine, and the overall aesthetic was lovely, but the fit completely ruined the experience for me. Customer Service & Return: I did end up returning the dress, and the customer service process was straightforward. However, I was a little disappointed that I couldn’t find an alternative size or design that would work better for me. This dress just wasn’t for me, and unfortunately, I didn’t get the perfect summer wedding dress experience I was hoping for. Final Thoughts: While the silk fabric and design were beautiful, the fit was the dealbreaker for me. If you're thinking about buying this dress, be aware that sizing might be inconsistent, and it’s important to consider whether the cut will work for your body type. I really wanted this to be “the one,” but I had to move on and keep looking for the right dress. I’d recommend trying it on in person if possible or checking reviews from others with similar body types to get a better sense of how it fits.

I needed a dress for my son's wedding, and it went with the color scheme that they were going with. I purchased it and worked very well with the decor and the colors. It was very light and silky. It was easy to put on and take off. It isn't a stretchy dress, but it flows nicely. It is true to size. You could dress this up for a wedding or you could dress it for a nice dinner. I am happy with the purchase. There wasn't much difference between the picture and the dress. You will want to get the dress steamed, because it does wrinkle. I would recommend this dress to anyone.

Toller Schnitt, Material auch wie beschrieben super großes Manko ist, dass das schwarze Kleid bei mir dunkelblau ist.... Nicht das, was auch angeboten wird sondern nochmal dunkler. (Foto im Licht - sieht da heller aus)

Omg bought this dress in several different colors and lengths. BEAUTIFUL, got so many compliments! Silk smooth fabric, good construction, fits like a glove (I’m 5’2” 130 lbs and bought a small), not tight, flowy, need to wear a strapless bra with it as the straps will show on one side. Prettygarden never disappoints. Run to buy!

Beautiful dress. I bought it for a special occasion but will have plenty of other occasions to wear it dressed down. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality. The green color and the light satin fabric are as described. I’m size 4/6, but I went for size medium to allow some room in the chest. I’m glad I did, the fabric drapes beautifully on the top. Besides, I recommend to pull waist up a bit to hide the seam between the dress’s top and bottom and to add volume on top. Overall, very happy with the purchase. Oh, and I bought it in the evening and it was on my doorstep shortly after 9am next day!
