MATRIX Food For Soft Hair Serum Oil – For Dry & Brittle Hair

Helps make my hair super soft and calms down the frizz. I find it’s okay as a heat protection product, but there are better products for that in my opinion. It is not super greasy, and I find it is a good value and easy to use. I feel it could be more potent, but my hair is a little damaged from several rounds of bleaching. The longest parts of my hair come to my shoulders and the rest is pretty short as I have a kind of shaggy cut, but I use almost two full droppers of the product to keep it looking and feeling healthy after my shower. It does reactivate easily when using water for about 3 days after washing your hair. I also have curly hair that is more straight/wavy for the first inch or so at the root, and this product is light enough it does not cause my hair to flatten. Currently pairing it with the pink instant hydration mask. Photos are from freshly dyed, freshly straightened, and then several months after where it does not have the extra support from the hair dye. I have been using this product for maybe 4 months now and even after dropping the container a spilling a bit I have about half the bottle.

This stuff smells delicious. Serum is not greasy. Easily application to ends of hair. Slightly weighs hair down. Do not recommend using thus before curling your hair, especially if you have long hair and live in the humid south. Curl does not hold well. However if you want to straighten your hair or let it air dry, this is for you. Helps hair not be frizzy in the heavily humid air of NC.

My hair stylist recommended this item. It helps keep my hair soft and manageable without being sticky or greasy. The little fly away hairs are must more controlled. I use this product each time I wash my hair. I have sensitive skin and a lot of allergies and this doesn’t irritate my skin or trigger allergies. It doesn’t seem to have a fragrance.

This stuff really works! I use before drying my hair because it's also a heat protectant, and I'll also add a little when my hair is dry. It makes your hair so soft and smells amazing.

A must for thick natural hair … it’s pricy but makes wash day so much better for my granddaughter

The Matrix Hair Oil Serum is light, non greasy and smells great. I use it on dry hair and it takes away any fly away hairs and leaves my hair nice and silky and shiny. I am very happy with this product.
