does it work on very thick hard skin

When I used it I didn't think it worked as well as I thought it would.. And I don't even have very thick hard skin, in my opinion it only took the top couple of layers off my skin which did ansolutly nothing to rovmove the hard skin.. Which is usually a lot deeper than just a couple of layers. If you watch YouTube videos of the baby foot product being used it shows the persons foot really peeling off layers.. That did happen.. You get more of a sun burn peel in my eyes. If you want to get rid of hard skin it will take time. You need to really soak your feet at least once a while and scrub the hard skin with a pumice stone then once your feet are our the water use a foot file or ped egg and moisturise.. If you keep this routine up you'll achieve soft feet.. Hope this helps :)

How long did it take to completely shed your skin? 2 weeks? Longer?

For me probably about a week....but I was super immature and not at all patient and sort of picked a bit (which you are explicitly told NO DO NOT DO THAT)...so if you follow instructions I would estimate a week 10 days-ish. I would also assume that if you exfoliate your feet or get pedis on a regular basis you wouldn't have as much dead skin and wouldn't likely shed for as long/much. It's great though (if not deeply unsettling) - really works.

I have tattoo's on my feet, will the peel affect them? or will it only focus on dry hard skin areas?

The ink on tattoos is inserted into the dermis, which is the innermost layer of the skin. (The epidermis, the outermost layers of the skin, is translucent, so you can see tattoos through it.) This product only removes skin from the epidermis. The epidermis is constantly being renewed, with all layers being replaced by new growth roughly every 48 days. After the 48 days any tattoos in the epidermis would be erased. So your tattoos will be fine.

Has anyone used this will a gel pedicure? Has it affected the gel nails? Thankyou

I did it once with a gel pedicure. It made my toenails less shiny (they became a little more matte finish), but not really noticeable and otherwise no damage (no chipping). Hope that helps!
