Will not hang level and untreated pine
This is a real cheesy product. Cheaply made. You can look at it and tell that live span might be a year since made of untreated pine. I sprayed with clear lacquer on top. Also will hang sideways unless you put some sort of loop in center of string that is the hanger....visualize the picture with the feeder hanging vertically instead of horizontal. That's what you get when it becomes unbalanced unless in put some sort of adapter on string (I had a metal circular loop that worked but I shouldn't have to do this). Do not recommend at this price. Worth $10 maybe but not $20+. We'll see how it works with my adapter hanger to see if birds are okay with it.

TOO SMALL, TOO MUCH TROUBLE
I'm sorry to say that several things are wrong with this bird feeder. To add seed, you pull the roof up along the cord that holds the feeder. If you try to do it without taking the feeder off of whatever hook you're using, there's barely enough room to add seed. Even if you remove the feeder and pull the roof up higher, it's still hard to pour seed into the feeder without spilling it all over the place. The seeds come out into low troughs on either side of the feeder, but the troughs are so low that they quickly fill up with seed hulls and shells, so there's no room for the new seeds. This means that every day you must go out and manually clean the seed hulls and shells out of the two troughs so new seeds can come out. This is an extremely small feeder. Two small birds (e.g., sparrows) have room to sit together on either side, and that's it. A single cardinal or other larger bird takes up one entire side of the feeder. Therefore it's impossible for very many birds to use the feeder at the same time. The suet cages at either end are a nice touch -- but the cages are only open at the top and are permanently attached. You have to shove a suet cake down inside the cage. If for any reason you want to remove the suet cake, it's almost impossible to get it out again. (E.g., on a larger feeder of mine, one entire side of the suet cage opens and closes.) The bottom line -- to small, too much trouble.

Birds love it
The birds love this feeder. And I love that a lot of birds can feed at once. 4 stars because it blew to the ground during a wind storm and one of the suet holders broke off, also the plastic sides feel kind of flimsy, but so far they are holding up.

A Great Value in bird feeders.
It has a lot of features for the lowest price -- I'm happy with that. It's like 1/3 the cost of other similar models, which I'll admit, are put together better...but it's a 1/3 of the price.

Nice birdhouse
Nicely made birdhouse. Only thing I do not like is the plastic clear sides come out of the slots sometimes. But it is still a great birdhouse
