UPDATED:It has been such a good monitor I made it my primary over my A level studies, I even am now taking it to uni as I write this review leaving the old one.Now is it still the best mid monitor on the market? No. There are far better monitors out there now time has passed, but I would argue if your after a good monitor that still has acceptable picture for its age, then yes this is for you.Read the original review here:I needed a cheep good monitor as a second monitor, and, for the price payed £121 ( on sale) it was extremely good. I had trouble getting the refresh rate up but:How to increase refresh rate on windows:- go to display settings- click advanced display settings- click display adapter properties- go to monitor tab- change refresh rateI would recommend setting it to the same as your primary monitor as this will (almost) remove all performance drops.It’s got great colour right out the box although as always I would recommend googling some good colour settings for the best colour grading.It’s super easy to set up and it comes with HDMI, Display Port, and Power cable. So no need to worry about buying more cables unlike some other monitors (cough, cough, ASUS).My biggest struggle wasn’t even todo with the monitor but finding good wallpapers that are dual monitor in this config.If you’re considering it as a primary or even secondary vertical monitor. This is a good cheep affordable price, and it looks great with a non invasive stand.But what’s the rotation like?The rotation is good, it can go portrait however only one way from landscape the tilt up and down are good, with a large up told capability from neutral. I am however unable to find any left to right tilt without moving the whole stand however this may be my own oversight.It comes with somewhat easy manuals to understand. The most useful being the quick start one.Honestly if you are considering a monitor even as a primary, this is a fantastic easy to set up high quality monitor.If I am able to i will update this review down the line and let you all know how it is going.Thank you!

The monitor itself is overall quite nice and was decent value at the time of purchase on offer. I particularly like the ability to rotate and maneuver the monitor easily to adjust the viewing position.Unfortunately, after 4 - 5 months, similar to other reviewers the monitor now has red/green horizontal and vertical lines when it has been woken up from being suspended and sometimes during the initialisation after powering on my PC. They are starting to remain longer for a few minutes at a time, but eventually disappear once the monitor has been on for a bit. Initially it started off for maybe 10 - 15 seconds, but does seem to be increasing quite quickly.I contacted AOC support and they just gave advice, such as changing refresh rates, using dedicated display ports, swapping ports and cables. I have yet to try these, but I'm not optimistic, as it's a clear sign the monitor is partially faulty and AOC did not offer a replacement at all.I'm not overly hassled as it was cheap, but I will be reluctant to purchase an AOC monitor again, as I've never experienced this before with any other monitor I've owned. I would advise to avoid AOC and look for a different brand, unless the monitor is on offer and extremely cheap, but even then it may be best to avoid...EDIT: I temporarily fixed it, by changing my refresh rate in my display settings. This only lasted a few weeks and would come back randomly, but changing the refresh rate fixed it. I now have 5-6 permanent thin lines running across the entire screen near the top. You can see it depending on the background color contrast. I haven't moved my monitor and it has just progressed since my original review.I may contact AOC support again to see if a refund or replacement is possible, as it is only like 6-7 months old. I don't think much will be offered.

Great monitor and the colours look amazing, compared to my old one the pictures seems really smooth with the refresh rate and the colours pop a lot more with the brightness, and for a 24 inch monitor it seems massive, can’t wait to order another for a dual monitor setup!!

Updated.Monitor itself started dying after 2 years. AOC support sorted the issue by sending a newer model as replacement.Thanks!

Bought three of these monitors in total around the Black Friday sales of 2025. In less than 6 months, all 3 of them are giving the lines fault, which seems to be common with what others are saying.AOC were of no use, and Amazon didn't have any to replace it. Took weeks of arguing with Amazon too, as they wanted me to return all my monitors for a "review", before a refund was made. Not only that, but once I agreed to return them, Amazon messed around with shipping enough times that they then decided they DIDNT need them back, and issued a refund. While nice of them, I'd already stripped them down, boxed them up and had them sitting for days at my door waiting for a collection that never happened.Anyway - stay away. I used to like AOC but this really put a bad taste in my mouth. Now I've 3 broken monitors, all with multicoloured lines. I've had to pull my old setup back out, and wait for a better option to come up.

A brilliant quality low price 165hz monitor, I use mainly for monitoring obs, youtube, Spotify 2nd monitor, it doesnt have built in sound, but I use external speakers.Its super lightweight, very sturdy, with a resolution of 165hz and the buttons on the monitor make it really easy to use and set up.

I’ve had this monitor for 2 years, it was working fine but now the screen is glitched with red and green lines. This started at the lower end of the screen and is now spreading up. Today it started flashing. Looking at other reviews it seems this is a common issue, I wish I’d seen this before. I won’t be buying this brand again

The monitor was great while it lasted. It had good picture quality, a sleek look and was easy to mount on an invision arm. However, green and black horizontal lines appeared on the bottom of the screen after 22 months, and this experience, alongside the lack of support from the manufacturer, has dampened my review.

For this price excellent monitor, bought it for my laptop and the brightness with colors is amazing, you got power cord, hdmi, and display port cable with monitor (no usb ports and no speakers) !!!Important!!! 165hz and G-sync/freesync premium works only by display port cable but i don't have port for this cable on my laptop((( anyway by hdmi you get 144hz, for best performance if you get stable 144-165 fps use medium overdrive if you get less than 100 fps use low overdrive.

Dalle 165hz avec très peu de motion blur, encore moins lorsque le setting Overdrive est sur "strong". C'est impressionnant pour le prix. Parfait pour le gaming compétitif tel que valorant ou fortnite.Cette impresionnante dalle est en plus sur un pied très ergonomique, offrant la possibilité d'ajuster à la fois la hauteur, l'angle et la rotation, et l'écran n'a pas besoin d'être vissé sur le pied mais est aussi compatible vesa.

Ürün elime ulaştı ve kurulumunu yaptım, kurulumu çok basit tornavida bile gerekmedi. Ölü pixel hiç çıkmadı ve çok az ışık sızması vardı bunu da ekranı tamamen siyah yapmadığında fark edemeyecek kadar az. Hatta tam siyah bile yaptığınızda da fark edilemeyebilir derecede az, o kadar da olur. Onun dışında parlaklık seviyesi çok iyi parlaklık seven biri olarak %60 da kullanıyorum. Tepkime süresi çok iyi . Renk kalitesi çok iyi cam gibi bir ekrana bakıyorsunuz.
