Lifesaver
This was a last-minute purchase for a trip that would have required a lot of walking. This chair saved the day. Everything about this chair is sturdy and well made, with an all-metal clamp to hold it open. It really folds and unfolds as easy as the video makes it look. It securely locks in place when open. The shocks work and it rolls very smooth on pavement. We even took it on some ADA trails (paved and packed dirt was fine but on an uneven boardwalk it was hard to push because of the small front wheels not clearing the ridges.) It's a good size for a slim adult 5'10" tall. It was used for extended periods of time (up to 6 hours) and the person using it stated that the seat was comfortable. Takes up very little space in the car trunk, about the size of a medium suitcase. The handlebar is tall, about 35 inches, which makes it comfortable to push for a taller person. If there is a negative, it is that the brakes are not like bicycle brakes, they don't let you slow down the wheelchair on downhill slopes. They lock as soon as you pull on the bar. Maybe that can be adjusted but I haven't figured out how. Would highly recommend this item if space is limited in your vehicle and/or you cannot load/unload the weight of a full-size wheelchair multiple times per day.

easy-to-use transport wheelchair
โ โ โ โ โ We bought the Medwarm Portable Aluminum Transport Wheelchair for my mom, and it has been a fantastic purchase. She absolutely loved it! Itโs lightweight, very easy to handle, and simple to transport and maneuver. The sturdy design gives great peace of mind, while the lightweight frame made it much easier on me as well โ definitely saved my back. Highly recommend for anyone needing a dependable, easy-to-use transport wheelchair!

Small and sturdy
I was expecting it to be small, it is. Iโm 5โ3, the push handle is a bit low for me, but I actually love it since itโs perfect for my tiny mother in law to use as a quick walker if needed. We were looking for quite a long time to find a stroller/wheelchair hybrid to go for paved path walks. The padding is hard, the backrest doesnโt extend far enough and you can feel the bar mid shoulders when I sit in it. We are buying both a back rest and pad for the seat. Iโll update after our vacation flying with it. Overall, the price, compact size, carrying bag, light weight and convenience is well worth it. If the person using it is taller or larger than 5โ3 and 180# Iโd definitely get a bigger chair. I rode in it for a quick ride on the sidewalk and road to see how the bumps were, it handled the bumps great, but overall is too small for me. We are using it for a little lady 4โ10 and 95#. I think it will be great for her, seems durable and just what we were looking for. Update, took it on flights and road trips. Wow. Itโs absolutely perfect. We did buy an additional back rest and gel seat pad. We took off the chair pad to find Velcro, added more Velcro to our new seat cushion, works perfectly. The chair doubled many times as a walker, better than we planned. It was great on uneven sidewalks and gravel. We also added a bag on the back using climbing carabiners and a cup holder on the arm rest. The bag broke as we zipped it on the first plane ride, the zipper broke completely on the return flight. We are going to buy a double stroller sized bag for the next flights. The bag is cheap but the wheelchair more than makes up for it. We put so many miles on the chair while on vacation! 2 year update. Still going strong. It has flown checked multiple times. The one break is useless most of the time and the other is hanging in there. Iโm still happy we bought it and feel we more than got our money worth. Mom is now 120# and no issues with it being older and used and carrying her weight. The hooks on the back hold a โworkโ bag from Amazon, we use it for depends, wipes and change of clothes etc. it has carried her and multiple bags while on vacation, again still going strong. We get asked so many times where we got it and info about it, people are amazed to see her using it as a walker and then sitting in it when she is tired, she rarely walks with it now and sits mostly. Itโs been a lifesaver and allowed us to go so many places.

Mostly excellent, but has a few issues
This chair is very lightweight, compact, and modern-looking. The seat cushion is pretty comfortable, and the wheels roll very smoothly. It folds to a small size, and has legs so it can stand up on its own while folded. My chair arrived with only one brake working. I had to send a video to the seller, and they sent me back a video and instructions for how to fix it. The fix was easy (2 minutes with a screwdriver), and worked. The footrest can only be extended/hidden while the chair is half-opened. Not when the chair is collapsed, nor while it's operational. I wish it could be swung in and out while the chair was locked in its operating position. There are a couple aspects that make me think it might not be comfortable for longer rides: The horizontal brake bar presses into my back when I lean back (it's fine if I sit straight or lean forward). And the high footrest means someone 5' 10" or so ends up with their thighs about an inch above the seat cushion. I am also a bit concerned that the armrests don't have a lot of structural support. If someone tries to use them for leverage to stand, and puts full weight on them, I'm not sure they'll hold up. Overall, I'm optimistic that this will be great for a light-to-average weight adult male, for short trips.

Perfect lightweight transport chair
I normally donโt write reviews, but I had to write one about this chair. I bought it for my husband who is 5โ9โ and weights 180 pounds. We wanted a transport wheelchair that was strong, comfortable, yet compact, and lightweight . This chair checked all boxes and more: it has security features such as reflectors and a seat belt. I have shoulder problems and I had no problems loading this chair into my carโs trunk (only weighs 24 pounds). The shock absorbers provide a smooth ride. The chair is strong and it seats comfortably (seat width 17.75 inches) an adult . I had returned two chairs before I finally found this one. It is not too expensive and definitely well worth the money .

Lightweight transportation wheelchair
I bought this wheelchair for my adult daughter, so we can travel and use it at Denver and use at the airport. I am so happy with this wheelchair. It is very lightweight and easy to use. it came in very handy for traveling. and it folds up very nice and it also has a caring case with it. She was very comfortable and the footrest folds inside the wheelchair so you do not have to take the foot rest on and off. there is no assembly required. which was very nice. Very happy with the purchase.

Good for tight spaces.
19Light weight and maneuverable. Makes getting around in the house so much easier. Tends to be less stable outside especially if not on a hard surface. Uneven ground can be a problem. Works well when you have narrow doorways. Updated August 19, 2024 After 8 months of use the brake cable broke. This makes getting my mother in law in and out of the chair dangerous as the chair will move when she is assisted in or out of the chair. There is no parts list or order form from the seller or manufacturer. I could fix it myself if I had the parts but I feel that for nearly $300 it definately should last longer than 8 or 9 months. I hope you can help me get the parts needed.
