Best ear bud purchase ever.
These are by far superior to any headphones/ear buds I have owned yet. The controls are a little different then what I was used to as I have used apple airpods/pros for many years prior. I went with these because my last three pairs of AirPods seemed to crap out on my within a little over a year as. Wanted something that would last and perhaps be just a little louder. These absolutely destroy AirPods. Would recommend these for anyone. Sound quality is outstanding. They get nice an loud and noice canceling is superb. Having the controls through the app is also a great option and has easy functionality. This worth the buy. Also are great at night when falling asleep if I leave them in, they are very comfortable.

Amazing sound performances
I have been a headphones audiophile who chased Hifi for 15 years or so. Been through most of different systems. I have come to the point that I would love a pair of buds to satisfy my hunger while I am out and about, while I can still conduct conversations with others. The pair that don't disgust me. I have my reasonable expectations such as the right amount of airiness, crisp, clean, clarity and details. 1/ Sound quality: unlike the Bose ultra or xm5, the sound performances from Tour Pro 2 is not full of resonances, bloated bass and muddy mess. It has huge sound stage for the category that it is in and for the audiences type that it targets. The cue of positioning within it soundstage is accurate with the vast soundstage, the first second I put it on, I was immediately satisfied with the immersiveness and similarity of Hifi system that I have always love. I would rate that it is in Mid Tier level for earbud systems. Now, considering that a proper mid tier buds ATM with a digital/DAC/Amp/Cable is typically $800-1500 system. This earbuds by itself is hitting well into the range with it performances. Now, let's forget about what Codec it uses, it is maxed out AAC 16/44•1 but the performances is well and beyond that of XM5 which support all kind of fanciest LDAC....with their DSEEHX and all the marketing stuff that drive a person nuts if you are not into it. If you are though...it is beyond disappointing. I don't understand why xm5 was hyped so much. You are welcome to try them out and don't have to take my words for it Onto the ANC features, the Tour Pro 2 allow adjustable ambient sounds, you can amplify it to listen to conversations easier or you can negate it just enough to pay attentions to stuff around you while you are jamming with your favorite tunes. I personally find this to be very very practical, together with the ability to adjust L/R balances. I recommend not to tinker with it as it would result in staging oddities and so on, our ears and brain adjust the best when things appear natural to them. But when you needed it, it is there. Case with fancy screen ? Yeah, some people say that it is not needed. IMO, I do need it, I am just adapting myself into this type of buds, I am clumsy at controlling with fingers and tap function. I rarely touch and finger to command, but I found the touch screen on the case is so practical and money worthy to have. I am surprised that with such amazing performances that is audiophile worthy, and practicality for ANC system, the price of the product, all considered and it still doesn't get the credits that it deserved. IMO, down right the best TWS with ANC at the moment of July 2024 if I can vote for it. Finally, please try different systems to see which one fit you the most, but if you would like to save some headaches and time, don't look into different fanciest that isn't worth it such as spatial sounds, LDAC codex or DSEE stuff...they are all meaningless if you get a muddy mess and bloated timbers, do give this a chance priority and you may arrive at the same conclusion that I do

EXCELLENT NOISE CANCELLING
I have owned a lot of earbuds over the years. Many different brands and styles. For me, I want comfort (wearing for extended periods of time on at my desk or while traveling), and I want noise cancelling (construction activities, mowing at the house, and occasionally shooting). I saw a lot of different forums talking about which brands were the best, and I read a lot of differing opinions. I decided to give these a try after seeing the Prime Days Deal on them and the large number of positive reviews that they had. These are by far the best earbuds that I have ever had in my life. The sound quality is absolutely phenomenal. They have so many different adjustments to get exactly what you want as far as sound is concerned. They fit like a glove and are very low profile. Generally, I have to take my earbuds out while taking a phone call, but not anymore. These are super clear on both ends and allow me to have hands free phone calls. The noise cancelling capability that these things have is what absolutely sold me. I have owned multiple construction approved earplug style earbuds specially designed to cancel out loud noises. These earbuds blow all of them out of the water. I put these earbuds in, and all external noises disappear. Including the lawn mower. I was completely shocked how great these earbuds are. I do not believe that I have heard true silence until I got these earbuds. I almost want to just wear them to sleep (which they do have a mode for btw). JBL did an excellent job when making these earbuds.

Very enjoyable to use and wear.
So I’ve been trying to move away from AirPod pros. Tired of replacing them every yr or 2. The first change I made was Bose QC ear buds love the sound clarity and rich deep base in those, but the microphone was trash. I’ve had previous great experiences with JBL. I find myself enjoying theses headphones. Their light and comfortable, I can hardly tell I have them in. The sound quality is very good not quite Bose good but not far off. The microphone is good, but can be spotty at times. Have really used the noise cancellation yet but from what I’ve experienced so far from the pass though talking it will be good. The app is nice but I’ve had problems when I open it going right into the headphones it keeps asking me to connect them and it takes a while for them To get recognizes automatically, but it’s an easy to use interface laid out well. The biggest thing I don’t like it how large the case is. I get it lcd screen some other cool features but think I’d rather have a smaller case and use the app for adjustments. This really my biggest issue which really isn’t terrible just inconvenient for me.

Good Earbuds
It took me a while to give in. I have all the Sony, bose, sound core, Samsung, beats and airpods earbuds. I have so many and don't use them much. I use the airpods and the link buds the most. My XM0005 or what ever it is is for my Walkman. I have a Sony Xperia phone I use for activity or for home use, so that I can be careless and not worry about my iPhone getting damaged. My link buds are for my walks so I can duo connect to my apple watch and android phone and has Alexa. Battery life on my other earbuds are bad. Like half of the advertisement. The soundcores are my least favorite. I didn't really have a pair of earbuds I use around the house with my android. I was attracted to the case display. My first pair of Bluetooth headphones were JBL in 2016 and they were ok. I bought these under the impression that they had LDAC. I would give less stars for that but when I bought them I didn't know it had Alexa so that will make up for it. I thought the ambient sound was bad at first but I read the instructions and found a setting to make it better. The battery life is amazing so far. I wanted something to replace my linkbuds but these seem to fall off easier so lll keep these and no LDAC so it won't replace my XM0005. I am pretty much going to use these as the android version of the airpods, which I never really had one so these are a good choice and have the same type of design. They also do sound pretty good.

These Are A Keeper, But Not At Full Retail
So the common complaint with those who gave these buds a 1 star is not pairing out of the box. There is a protective strip that has to be peeled in order for them to work. These reviewers may not have realized this and immediately trashed the earbuds. That said to continue.... After doing the firmware update and setting up the custom eq, the Tour Pro2 sounds amazing so far. I previously had the Samsung Galaxy Buds2 Pro and unfortunately the driver in the left bud blew out. While I loved the galaxy buds, they had their issues with stability along with limited eq settings and that was with have a Samsung Note. Which is why I went to the JBL Tour Pro2. The other premium brands Sennheisers, Bose, B&O etc are not worth their price for what you get. I am even skeptical of these because of pricing, vs what you get, but I want to give them a chance to see if they're worth 249.00. The overall sound quality so far is very good and the bass is deep as advertised. The smart case is good, I'd wish it would show the artist and track and the flashlight function is silly. Couple of things i have to get used to are the tap controls on the Buds, as they are different than samsung. The second is the awkward plucking of the Buds out of the case (not a deal breaker). So I will give these a chance and make a decision before the return window is closed and I will give an update. I found a new pair of the Tour Pro 2 for much better price and I will be returning these solely based on price. I found a new set elsewhere for 179.00 (Not on Amazon) which is a more appropriate pricepoint. I personally think 249 is high for these at full retail. If the case did a little more or the sound quality was at high end audiophile level, then they'd be worth 249.00. Quick Update: Now it's July, and the JBL Tour Pro2 is still my go to earbuds. After having them for almost 4 months, I don't find plucking the Buds out of the case to be awkward after having them for a while, the stability is great, and the battery life is holding on strong. I still stick with my original statement to find these below retail for a better value.

The case is gimmicky. They sound great, when they're properly fit. But that's it.
I like my Samsung buds much more on most aspects. The Samsung buds fit perfectly and rarely fall out. The touch controls are better on the Samsungs. Pros: 1. They sound great. But only when the seal to your ear is perfect. 2. The battery life is great. 3. The noise canceling and ambient sound function are pretty awesome. But again, without a good seal, forget about it. Cons. 1. The ear tips are garbage. Very hard to get a good seal, which is where the good sound comes from. Without a perfect seal, the great sound is gone. The ear tips also provide very little retention. 2. The touch controls are not great. Almost unusable. If the volume is at all loud, you just can't hear the touch control feedback. This makes it impossible to tell if you got a good touch or how many touches, resulting in undesirable touch control results. 3. The case is unnecessarily advanced. It seems cool, and is sometimes handy, but it's no different than just using your phone. It's cool for about a day. It's bulky. The touchscreen is too sensitive and hard to keep in your pocket due to it's size and accident screen touches. 4. This is a big one for me. The buds themselves are bulky and do not stay in my ears well. I'm constantly having to shove them back in my ears. They're consistently falling out. Again, they're bulky, but I also blame the cheap silicone tips on this. I'm tempted to return these. Going to try and find some better tips first though.

Above all expectations. Reviewed after 6 months of use.
Finding a great sounding set of earbuds, or headphones is challenging. Sound is very subjective to the individual. However, I have several pairs of both buds & headphones but needed a set for daily use. I checked several pairs based on overall all reviews and listened to several pairs in store to narrow my list. After listening to several other pairs the JBL Tour Pro 2 stood far in front of others and picked them up. I'm writing this based on 6+ months of use to provide accurate feedback. I have not found anything to complain about. The case works great and has several features that work very well for tuning the sound. With fully charged buds I got 6-8hr of constant use at a moderate level. Battery for the case appears to be within spec with manufacture. I found the sound had strong bass that did not over power the mid or high range. The case also has many sound options that can be changed to ones liking. The ANC is like nothing I have had to date. Background noise is virtually gone 100% with a click on the ear bud or case. I found changing the ANC with a tap on the bud works well when you need to hear your surrounding quickly. Highly recommend to anybody. Plus Amazons service was great.
