Case Compatible with Oneplus 5T, Carbon Fiber Shock Absorption Slim Case, Teal

As of mid-December 2017, there is not a huge variety of cases available for the OnePlus 5T. I knew I wanted a TPU case and didn't want to pay more than $10, and I kind of liked the gray color, so I ordered this one. It fits the phone very well--it's feels snug and solid, and it's definitely a couple notches above the jelly case that ships with the 5T. There is only a very slight lip above the screen, but it should be just enough to prevent any impact between the screen and the floor in the event of an unfortunate drop. The case looks pretty slick and has rugged sort of metallic, "machined steel" look on the back. It's attractive and seems well-made and exceeds my expectations on those fronts. Although I like this case a lot--especially for the money--there are two things to be aware of. First, the case actually is pretty slick--it already slipped out of my hand once. I assume that will diminish over time as it gets broken in. Second, the "gray" case looks to be quite a different shade in real life than in the product photo. Here, it looks almost like a sand or even gold color, but mine looks much more like actual "gray" (I'd call it a charcoal color). But it goes nicely with my black OnePlus and will help it stand out a bit when I misplace it. I don't find either of these caveats enough of a drawback to take off a star. All in all, I recommend this case for anyone looking for a low-profile TPU case for their 5T, as long as you're not expecting exactly the color you see in the picture. If you can't find this exact brand, there seem to be lots of clones of this design (carbon fiber-esque design on the back at top and bottom) on Amazon and eBay. I imagine any of them will be just like this one.

I have purchased other Cruzerlite cases and have been happy with them all, including this one for the Oneplus 5T. Fits the phone great, even with the Orzly screen protector, and gives the phone the much needed grip over the naked phone body. The only thing I wish the case could have done better was make the cutout area for the notification slider switch to be bigger, as you can only manipulate the switch with your fingernail, and not using the friction of your finger. It is also thin enough to not add much bulk to the existing phone body, and hopefully provides a little bit of damper if the phone ever drops to the ground. As I am not going to drop test it, I'll give it the benefit of the doubt that the casing will increase whatever small percentage to protect the phone.

This is a thinner case-- there are some cases that double the bulk of a phone. I didn't want one of those for my svelte Oneplus 5T. The buttons for power and volume do require more effort to press than the naked phone but not overly so. Overall, a nice balance between protection and thinness. This is a 7 year old phone now but it works great. Hopefully this case helps it last a few more years.

The red color looks nice on my phone. The fit is good. It has protected my phone from multiple accidentally drops. The volume and power buttons are a bit stiff. They are usable, you just have to press more firmly then what I'm used to. Overall it's a good case for the money. I'd buy it again.

a little poorer quality for the case it replaces.. but hey.. it's for a 7 year old phone

All i wanted was a cheap and non flimsy cover for my old phone and it's exactly that. Buttons are hard but bearable enough to overlook. Loved the Teal.

The case fit is great, and my phone looks great and seems protected. The loss of 1 star is due to the uncomfortable access to the mode button on the left side. Additionally -- but that is subjective -- the feel of the case is not that... ummm... comfortable (due to the "ridge" on the circumference).

I am very pleased with the feel and quality of this case to replace my original. Everything is accessible and the buttons are easy to press. It feels very sturdy and the bright colour makes it easy to spot when I have left it somewhere on the side (as usual!)
