A Game Changer for Mirrorless Enthusiasts!
I recently got my hands on the Silence Corner Atoll C in Black and I must say, it has revolutionized my photography experience. The rotating collar is a game changer - allowing for lightning-fast orientation changes from vertical to horizontal, ensuring I never miss a shot. The ease of changing lenses is a breeze, saving me precious time on shoots. The universal tripod mounting is a welcome feature, making it compatible with my existing gear. What truly sets it apart, though, is its speed - it's noticeably faster than your standard L-bracket.The build quality is top-notch, providing a secure grip on my mirrorless camera. The black finish adds a sleek touch to my setup. This accessory is now an essential part of my kit, and I can't recommend it enough to fellow photographers. Kudos to Silence Corner for this fantastic addition to the photography world!

Works as Described
This Silence Corner Atoll X - Black Rotating Collar works very well with my Nikon D750 for use on my Benro Polaris Astro mount. Rotates easily. Very well built and sturdy. High quality craftsmanship product.

Works great on Canon R
Fits good with the EF to R adapter. Better than an L bracket for tripod shooting.

Not for those with large hands
I am size L in gloves, this collar made it hard to grip my Sony a6300 and a7iv, mind I do use a battery grip for the a7iv. Its hard to press the release button on either of the cameras. Ulanzi came up with a solution but only for full frame, no support for sony a6xxx series cameras. It is a great idea especially for those with smaller hands. I returned it before posting any pictures. Still recommend it for people with smaller hands and specially for landscape/astro photographers

Good option for smaller lenses
If you have smaller lenses then this product is great to use. Quickly changing between portrait and landscape modes even while using a monopod without a ball head is a great option to have. The only issue is that this is not versatile enough and doesn't fit all my lenses and primary lens which I a Canon f4l 24-105. So read the configuration before you buy.The overall build quality and ease of installation is great. Comes with extra pads in case you want a perfect fit with your lens and the base.

Model D has some issues
Works well in that it rotates the camera body and maintains composition. Purchased Model D to work with my Nikon D750 and was aware of the issues noted in the documentation. It worked with all my lenses - even those that stated it might not. However, had to position the ATOLL very carefully and it was still awkward to activate the lens release button. The device does interfere with the some of the lens switches but since I rarely touch them, it was no big deal. What was a big deal is that reviewers stated it worked with the Peak Design capture clip. Other models might, but the Model D does not - the extended base prevents use.

Timeserver
I was planning to buy new dedicated camera for shooting vertical content. ($800).Now with Atoll I can switch from horizontal to vertical mode within 2 seconds (so $650 saved). And my ball head is all the time over the tripod (no need to tilt it to the side). Also center of grafity of the lens/camera combo is moved to the front, which allows better stability. It is not that easy to release the lens if you use MC11. To work with MC11 you need to push Atoll all the way in, and then it's quite hard to release the lens from the body. But since I use it in the studio it's not a problem cause I always got a small screwdriver on the desk to push the release button. Might be annoying in the field. Although non-adapted lenses you do not need to push the Atoll all the way in, so release button is then reachable.

Fast! Easy. Life is simpler now.
I just love being able to quickly change orientations. There are annoyances, like the screw is hard to tighten and sometimes the lens moves if I forget. But remembering to tighten is still way way way less annoying than turning the camera on an L bracket. I am glad to have this. It is simple to reach the lens release button and the unit doesn't seem to be damaging the camera body. I leave it on 100% of the time now.

The media could not be loaded.

D850 camera
I liked the idea of being able to rotate the camera to different degrees but unfortunately it does not work with my Nikon d850. Some of my lenses will not attach and I can't access the remote control socket. So I feel I have wasted my money and a lot of it at that!
