I've used this product now for several years. I got onto using it when my daughter who had been fighting acne started using it when it was recommended by her dermatologist. Now, mind you one who's used to using a liquid foundation makeup might not THINK this would give good coverage but it does. I am so OCD about foundation I was hesitant at first to try it but I was surprisingly pleased with the results. There's three major reasons I love this product: 1. It gives me full coverage with easy application and 2. In the summertime this is not heavy on your face like a liquid foundation which makes you sweaty and shiny. This goes on smooth and leaves you without a shiny look and will NOT make you sweat. And last but not least, 3. This will not make you break out. I love this stuff and would highly recommend it to anyone.

I've used this product for 20 years, at least, and I live it. Soft, matte, natural finish. Stays on all day without retouching. Buildable coverage.I use Golden Light. Worth the $$$.

My dermatologist's office stopped selling this brand, so I was very happy to be able to order it from Amazon. Use a kabuki brush, and the coverage is VERY good. As good as a concealer (I do not use this under my eyes). Even though I usually wear pink tones, it is the Golden Light that matches my fair, Winter skin the best. I've been using Glo compacts for many many years. Just don't drop it. The cake of powder does break up pretty easily if you drop it hard.On my skin, this powder does not look cakey, or settle into my wrinkles and creases. And it stays on all day.

I never thought I'd give up foundation. This product has shortened my make-up routine by turning 2 step foundation + powder into one step only, and it looks very natural. It covers, blends and evens out skin tone perfectly. Put on moisturizer, then wait a bit for it to dry, then apply with a good stiff bristle brush so you don't lose too much product in the brush. Apply concealer over the powder (which is weird, but better to avoid caking). I still use concealer for blemishes and dark under eye circles, but the powder takes care of the rest. Excellent product!!

I love this pressed powder soooooooo much!!!! I never thought I would break away from my NARS bright crystal powder , but I’m oh so glad that I did. I just love the color & the way it sets my foundation. It’s just beautiful!! It doesn’t settle into my pores at all. My pores are invisible with this powder and honestly , I never thought I would ever say that. Try this! You won’t regret it.

Update: I had used the sponge that came in the compact before my last review. I noticed the package suggests a kabuki brush. Giving it one more shot, I sort of buffed a lot less powder into my cheeks using little circles. The coverage was way better and I didn’t get the weird crepe skin on my forehead. This pressed base works better than I initially thought and I up my review to 4 stars. It just takes some gentle buffing and light amounts of product. I’m willing to admit when I’m wrong.Original review:I’m in my late 30’s and have mild aging on my face. Mostly fine lines with a couple stress wrinkles on my forehead. This base covered the two acne spots I have, but completely made my lines and wrinkles worse. It even made part of my temples look like crepe skin!!! Around my eyes looked 10 years older.

I have been using gloMinerals for a very long time. This powder is great and really covers small imperfections. You only need to put a little bit of the powder on your face brush, it goes a long way. The first time I used this powder, I really rubbed my brush into it and wasted quite a bit of the powder. I will continue to order and use this makeup - very easy to toss in my purse and freshen up after work if going out to meet friends for the evening.

This product was a big miss for me. The color was way too light, it didn’t cover my problematic skin and my cystic acne got so much worse once I started using this. After I stopped, my skin improved. This might work for some but it was not worth the price or the damage it caused my skin.
