Easy to use Rubber Lighter With Stunning Red Flame Jet lighter

I have smoked a pipe for almost 50 years and in that time I have had a lot of different lighters costing anything up to £40 each - but after a while they all packed up. For a while I have used cheap refillable/disposable cigarette lighters but the flame can burn my thumb/driving gloves when used for lighting a pipe so I thought I would try these. They arrived quickly and seem to be fine. To cover the various points made by other reviewers, all 5 work, yes the gas tank is a bit small, and yes you have to apply a bit of pressure to the "trigger" but no more than on a lot of other lighters I have used. At least you do not get a callous from a "knurled flint wheel" like on some I could mention. As to lighting first time they do usually but not always, but then the same could be said of all the other more expensive lighters I have used. I don't suppose they will last all that long, particulalry if I drop them, but at this price who cares! I can buy 20 of them for the price of my last Zippo and double that for the price of my Sarome which still works intermittently but suffers from a very worn flint wheel and I can no longer get the correct flints.UPDATE It is coming up to 10 months since I bought a pack of 5 and I am currently using the 4th, but it is showing signs of packing up - in each case after heavy use the ignition packs up but that is par for the course with disposable electronic lighters in my experience. They have survived being dropped unlike similar disposable cigarette lighters and I continue to be impressed with them for the price - will get some more shortly even though they have gone up by around 50% to £7.99 from £5.63 which seems a bit extreme!

I keep getting caught out.The 1st type by this Company, the lighter was excellent, the nozzle folded away, but not refillableThese ARE refillable, but nozzle fixed in the 90 degree and therefore NOT good for the pocket.Both are good value. Just want a folding nozzle version that is refillable.

Brought these for my husband who is a pipe smoker. He has spent a lot of money in the past buying pipe lighters so we were a little wary about this 'cheap' pack of 5 however, they are great. Re-fillable and easy to use, they have had a lot of use and are still going strong, will be buying again rather than spend £20 on just one that last's just as long. The flame is also adjustable with is great. I have also found these good for lighting my candles :)

Igniter lasted 4 weeks. Shame as it was a good lighter

Very good pipe lighters. Don't spend loads of money on expensive lighters. These work just as well, and they are refillable. Whats not to like!!!

Tough on thumb and doesn't flame or light the first time. Although not bad value for money.
