I don’t like giving three stars as I think it is down to my stupidity that I could not understand how to use them. I gave them to my daughter and she has also found it too complicated. However, they look great and I am sure other people will be able to work them out.

We needed to replace a food scale that stopped working after 3 years. Saw this one and decided to give it a shot. Our old one was smaller and completely plastic. This one is a little larger and has a metal round tray.The display is large and the buttons are smoothly integrated in to the body of the scale so no cracks for foods/liquids to get into. Super easy to clean also. Has multiple options for units, including gram, lb/oz, fl. oz, ml, etc. Tested it with a few items whose weight was known and it was spot on. This is a great scale for everyday measuring for food you are about to eat or for recipes for families of 4 to 6. It may not fit the bill if you are looking to measure large dishes with ingredients that weigh more than 11lbs. Highly recommended scale.

Great scale! A bit smaller than I expected, but with the display on the right side, it is easier to get a larger plate or bowl on it and not have it obscured. The list of food codes is extensive and easy to use. this will be a great tool as I monitor the calories in what I eat.

Great little scale. It knows everything. Any food you want to eat? It has an option for that. Skin on chicken skin off chicken. Skin on Apple skin off Apple. Seriously everything. I would recommend if you are looking for a really easy way to check the nutrition of anything. Good battery life too. And you can tuck it away in your cabinet easily when not in use. I definitely recommend!

My wife had been noticing that her old kitchen scale seemed to run through batteries and had begun acting 'wonky'. I had ordered another one but didn't realize it was too small and had a lower weight limit than she wanted. After sending that one back we ordered this one and she is quite happy with it. This scale is much easier to read with the backlit numbers (she loves that!) and is more compact than her old one so it takes up less space in the kitchen cabinets. It also uses regular AAA batteries instead of the flat lithium batteries which makes it easier to swap batteries when needed. We have used it for portioning out meals and she has used for holiday baking, so far this has been a great kitchen scale.
