Saw this one and decided to give it a shot. Our old one was smaller and completely plastic. This one is a little larger and has a metal round tray. The display is large and the buttons are smoothly integrated in to the body of the scale so no cracks for foods/liquids to get into. Super easy to clean also. Has multiple options for units, including gram, lb/oz, fl. oz, ml, etc. Tested it with a few items whose weight was known and it was spot on. This is a great scale for everyday measuring for food you are about to eat or for recipes for families of 4 to 6. It may not fit the bill if you are looking to measure large dishes with ingredients that weigh more than 11lbs.
