Had to replace the handle on my Sliding glass door because I wanted a keyed lock. I want to be able to unlock the slider if I can't get into my front door which has a smart lock on it. This worked well.

Ordered this to have a keyed, lockable sliding door lock. The screws that came with it weren't the right size for my door even though it fit within the advertised dimensions. The 40mm and 50mm screws were both too short to reach the screw holes and the 60mm screws were too long, bottoming out in the screw holes while leaving the handle loose and rattling on the sliding door. I had to order M5 55mm screws online as my local hardware store didn't have them. Finally I was able to use the handle and the lock functioned well enough using the inside lever, but it will not lock from the outside using the keys. I am able to unlock the door from the outside using the keys, but am unable to lock it again from the outside. Ultimately I will keep it because it was a considerable headache to install, but not happy that it didn't include the screws I needed and won't function properly with the key.

I had a slight problem with my original order but the seller reached out to me and took care of it right away.And the handle and lock work just as advertised.

The lock isn’t long enough to reach the latch to lock our door, therefore we are not able to lock the door. I had to order another handle exactly like our old one that broke. Surely hope it will lock our door! Not very happy with this one!

When I received package I opened it to find that it has already been open all hardware loose in the box had to get more hardware

This product is poorly made and not universal. The biggest issue, the thumb latch does not actually attach to the interior handle. The picture which shows the interior handle and thumb latch together is a blatantly lie. The Thumb Latch goes over the rod from the lock and just hangs there, the interior handle then screws down over the top of it without actually connecting to it at all. You are left with either a loose handle and loose latch that flops around, or you tighten the handle and now can't use the thumb latch.

This handle seems nicely made and all the hardware was included. Unfortunately I can’t say how well it performs as I ordered the wrong kind of handle so I didn’t install it.

The slliding door handle was very easy to install. (Please see advisement below before installing). The package came with 3 sets of different sized screws to accommodate the width of your sliding door. The mortise (locking mechanism with the latch) works very well and is sturdy and solidly built. The handles are also durable and solidly constructed. All pieces are metal and felt strong and sturdy.The only problem I had was the thumb latch. The notch where the pin goes through is too thick so it does not fit flushed under the handle to lock the door. The latch flips up to release the lock hook and down to lock the door in place. Currently, I cannot use it and am looking for the customer service information to see what options are available. The handle and mortise are installed, and I'm using it, just not with the lock feature. Please see picture for what I mean.VERY IMPORTANT: after you have removed your old handle and BEFORE you remove the old mortise, stick a screw driver or a long nail into the holes of the door first. If you don't do this and proceed to remove the old mortise, the bracket inside the door frame will fall to the bottom and you won't be able to retrieve it, and you won't be able to install the mortise without it. The (tiny printed) instructions has this step, but it can easily be overlooked. There are a couple of quick videos on their storefront that show you how to prevent the mortise and the bracket from slipping inside the door frame.Overall, the product is sturdy and well built.
