Overall, easy to put together. **Q: Hi.. is the upper window have plexiglass or is it open? I prefer it not to be open so it would be more warm..** A: The upper front window is plexiglass. The lower door is also plexiglass in a swinging door. The upper side where the cat is laying is an open entrance.
