My husband has a problem with precancerous areas on his skin--primarily on his face. His dermatologist recommended taking Niacinamide 500 mg. twice a day. This is supposed to counteract this problem. It is difficult to tell whether it works or not, but he has not had a reoccurrence since beginning this pill, and he does go yearly for a skin check. I am taking the Niacinamide too as a precaution. Good value for my money, and easy to swallow. Capsule much easier to swallow than tablets (which is what is generally available at the pharmacy), particularly for high doses, which requires larger pill size.
