Galison - Ideal Bookshelf: Universals 1000 Piece Jigsaw Puzzle for Adults

I enjoy puzzles with book fronts, stamps faces, any sort of assembled blocks. Especially if there's good color variation. This one was fun. A tiny bit more challenging than might be expected, but one I'll keep and assemble a few more times over the years before passing it on.

This is one of the best puzzles I’ve done! I love reading and collecting books so I’m very into puzzle with books. This one was so cute! It was really enjoyable to do because of the different book colors and titles—it wasn’t way too difficult but just right so that I could get wrapped up in while still being challenged. I really highly recommend this to any puzzle lover that would be interested in a “book” puzzle!

Loved this It took about 8-10 hours of puzzling to finish, which is what I wanted at the time. Do be warned that the backside of the puzzle is white, not cardboard-colored, so you'll need to look twice at the edge pieces, but only a small area of the puzzle beyond the edge is solid white, so this wasn't much of a problem. I did find it hard to tell sometimes whether I had the right piece or not, but it wasn't nearly as bad as some I've done. It didn't hold me up too much because the picture is so brightly colored and you can usually tell quite quickly if you've attached the wrong pieces. This does come with a larger printout of the picture, which I always appreciate.

As a reader and a writer, I loved the design of this puzzle. Several sections were challenging, but just the right amount. Never felt frustrated working on any of it.

I purchased this because my 35 year old is a librarian and loves books! We had fun putting it together in 2 days on a beach trip, but I must say it was very challenging. There weren’t enough different sizes of the pieces, which made it more difficult in some of the areas of the puzzle, but we had tons of fun trying! And it did only take 24 full hours to complete! We loved the colors and books!

It’s refreshing to work a puzzle that is not a collage- or heavily-detailed style, nor solid colors. I loved working one section (book) at a time, and it was easily portable. I just pulled the pieces for one book, and took them on a tray to the couch or outside to a lounge chair to work on.

I loved this. Great gift for book-lovers. All the "titles" were highly relatable. It was also fun to do. Some puzzles are a drag because the detail is so overwhelming that it's more a matter of trying every piece that looking at the pieces to figure out where they go. This one had a nice balance for solving.

Great for kids who may be intimidated to try a 1,000 piece puzzle. The color blocking creates confidence in completing each component. The text on each book spine also sparks conversation in groups putting it together. Engenders a pleasant pastime.

Usually our family sticks to purchasing Ravensburger & Eurographics puzzles so we were pleasantly surprised with this puzzle. Parts are easy but there are some more challenging parts of the puzzle too. Not bad quality either.

It's a nice and easy puzzle but it was missing 3 pieces. Quality is just OK. A lot of pieces were slightly bent.

It’s a nice puzzle but it came with seven missing pieces and one extra duplicate piece in my box. Very disappointing considering the price of this puzzle.
