The colors are bright and easy to work with, and everything’s sized well for travel or school sleepovers. Packaging is adorable and definitely appeals to teens. That said, the quality isn’t professional — some products feel a bit basic and the brushes are nothing fancy — which is fine for young teens just starting out, but adults might find it lacking. Great starter set or gift idea, but don’t expect high-end results.

My granddaughter loved it. We got this around Christmas time for a gift. It was very cute. When you open it up. It was very colorful so the appearance wonderful the gift ability was also very good. She loved it. She asked for it and she got it. it was just the right size for her.

The foundation and concealer color was way off. The rest of the makeup was great. It doesn't let you pick your colors

I think this makes a good starter make up kit. I actually bought it for my niece, I think she will like it. Lots of items in the kit, at a good price. The brushes come in a carry bag, keeping it separate from the other items. This is perfect for travel as well. I have to say the case is a bit smaller than I expected it to be. The photo page should include measurements. The women has it over her shoulder with the strap & to me it looks to be the size of a purse. Which is NOT the case. This would have been helpful. Having a strap to tote it is an excellent idea , teens take their makeup everywhere! The lip glosses are a little darker than the photos, I would have liked lighter colors. I will see how well the makeup performs once she uses it.

One dream

Bought for an 8 year olds birthday. Has some decent quality make up in this kit. Her mother grabbed some of the pieces as it was the same brand she used (the mascara). What a great kit for a little girl to learn, and mine adored using the same type of products as the adults in her life. Large selection of products, but be warned, the lipstick is all dark/bright colours. No soft pastels which would have been better for a child, but that’s no reason to deduct any stars.
