Sorry, I can't give you an exact db number but I have it within about three feet of me in the bedroom and the lowest couple of settings are easily quiet enough for me to sleep and noises at night really bug me. One of the reasons I need this is because I can't have the window open when I am trying to sleep as the noise keeps sleep away.
