is this from china? There seems to be a chinese symbols on pack. i thought this was made in france?

Everything on the packet suggests it comes from the French salt producers in Brittany, including a reference to "cooperative de productuers", not to mention the name which is a french region. Surely the Chinese writing is a translation of the description and how to use comments above in french and also in English, for the purpose of export to china. There are no other Chinese markings.
