Such a beautiful, beautiful book... **swoon**

No me gustó. Lo devolví. Reiterativo, básico y aburrido. Muy centrado casi únicamente en algunas marcas de EE.UU.

Ein sehr schönes Buch mit zahlreichen Abbildungen und mit zeittypisxher Werbung. Leider sind (fast) nur amerikanische Maschinen abgebildet. Trotzdem ist es sehr interessant.

What a delightful book: a pop culture look at the typewriter, from conception to pretty much the death of this wonderful machine. I loved it, and was somewhat chagrined at how many of the typewriters and accessories that I have used over the course of my working life. Now, in retirement, I can read this lovely book and remember fondly.

This is a wonderful book overflowing with bright, colorful vintage images of typewriters of all sizes, shapes and kinds. The source material includes advertisements, brochures, photos, instruction manuals, postcards and much more. There's even a short section on typewriters that were included in pin-up photos. The labor of love it must have taken just to find all of this material is impressive enough, but the final product is a visual joy.

I really didn't expect an entire archival book of typewriter & mill. advertisements in its pages, plus a special bonus of a booklet included! I read it thoroughly, and recollected a cartoonist's contribution to one of the companies - Chas Adams! I'd like to ask the author who complied this incredible book to go for a second of cartoon advertisements!! Thank you so much!
