Granddaughter loved this book. Easy and entertaining read.

Fantastic stories well worth the money

I bought this for my year 5 class to listen to as part of a series of lessons studying a famous author. Having read Demon Dentist to a previous class I knew the stories would go down well; however, I hadn't realised how much extra enjoyment the children would get from the way Walliams brings the characters to life.The stories, known to most children these days, are well thought out and follow lead characters which the children can relate to including broken families, feeling different for their friends and fears which many children will share. Walliams doesn't pull any punches or shy away from some embarassing topics (THOSE certain hidden magazines for instance) though does this in a suitably comic/sensative way that allows him to get away with it.In the end my class were enjoying it so much that the other teacher in my year group had to start playing them to her class to prevent a riot - I think it's fair to say this was a great purchase!

Loving these audio books. We use them in the car for long journeys and since using our lives have become easier! David Walliams audios are great, entertaining books, entertaining reader, well worth the money

This was a morning life saver my boy actually sat at the dinner table and ate whilst playing these wonderful stories. It kept him entertained and he ate all his dinner both is usually a mission so very happy

Good value for money and the kids still love listening to it a year after being bought!! Great stories. Good for long journeys in the car too !!!

My 11 year old and 8 year old both LOVE these! My son, who is dyslexic is using the cds to support reading of the actual books also. Would totally recommend.

Bought this for my young nephews to listen to whilst travelling. The are aged 5 and 6 and they both loved it. The stories made them laugh out load and they just wanted to keep listening. David Williams voice brought the stories to life. The adults loved listening to this too. Fantastic.
