Review: Now THAT'S a Toy Truck! - Really impressed by this thing. It says it's die-cast metal, but there's still a lot of plastic. I had to use a magnet to see what's metal and what's not. The plastic parts are solid enough that it's hard to tell. But honestly, I don't know ow long it will hold up to my three-year-old nephew. He'll love it, but I doubt it will survive a good fall or a drop (or a throw! LOL) I guess we'll see. The first things that I noticed when I got it out of the box were the tires. They feel like rubber! They have an off-road like tread that even makes them "hum" a little on the right surface! The attention to detail on the design is really nice, too. For the reviewers that says it's smaller than they expected, here's a tip. It's 1:32 scale - the box says 1:28 but the listing says 1:32. (1:28 is bigger than 1:32 BTW) That means 1" = 2'-8". The truck is 7 inches long, which would equate to an 18'-8" long truck, so it's just about right as advertised. It's difficult to find a well-made toy, but this looks like a winner to me. My wife asked why I didn't order one for me. She didn't have to ask twice! Ordered!
