I use a CGM (continuous glucose monitor), and after several months, I could see the difference in real time. There are some days my blood sugar goes through the roof, and I take metformin, but it doesn't really take effect immediately. I wait a few hours, and if it's still too high, I take berberine and my blood sugar drastically drops very quickly and a lot and then continues to steadily lower over the next few hours. I've watched and varied combinations with the metformin and the berberine, and whatever it's doing, it's effective and visible. Some nights, I am tempted to not take metformin or just half a pill before I go to bed because it's already pretty low before going to bed (100-120). I'm afraid to wake up to my sensors going off telling my blood sugar is dangerously too low. I really found effectiveness from consistency as seen in experiments, one pill 2x a day. I've also seen my blood sugar respond quickly throughout the day with noticeable small jumps up and down rather than just a huge hill throughout the day. Not sure if this is an indicator that my blood sugar response has become more sensitive as needed throughout the day. I still maintain decent habits, making sure to take fiber and protein before carbs. I don't eat late at night, etc. so this is not a permission to go crazy.

I took took this product for blood sugar control and it seems to work. I take it after dinner because at end of day and at nightmy sugar spikes. In the morning drinking drinking water, Ive been able to remain under 100. Capsules sometimes have a bad taste but tolerable. I refuse to take blood sugar perscription meds for my "pre-diabetic" condition. Also I dont eat after 9pm

I am one of those people who had great results from the higher doses in most Berberine brands. I started with one that had a lower dose of about 200 mg, well it was too low. It claimed to have some kind of super absorptioin that made it more potent - nope, actually gained weight on that one. Then I tried a higher dose one that included royal jelly. It worked too good and gave me way too much gastro issues, so I started trying several other prands including a few claiming to be gentler on the tummy due to their lyposomal quality. Nah, they still caused some stomach upset and didn't work that well. Then I found this one. It is slightly lower in Berberine that the most effective, but also has cinnamon and other ingredients that I think actually work well together, and it works pretty well and has a lot less gastro issues. It's not perfect, I do have issues every one in a while, but no-where near as often. It's something I can tolerate as long as it's only once or twice a week rather than daily, and the scale is moving in the right direction again. I also take this with Fucothin and between them, eating healthy and working out, I have lost about 10 lbs of fat according to my smart scale, and I can tell. Cloths are looser and muscle is more defined. I had been working out 5-7 times a week for years, but all that did was maintain, not lose the weight that I put on thanks to menopause. Now I'm back to my pre-meno weight.

I used this product for its stated abilityto control and/or stabilize blood pressure and blood sugar. After having just consulted with my GP regarding my blood numbers it does not look as if the outcome was as expected. Taking a more positive approach I would like to try the product again for a three month period before passing judgment.I do have to say I wish there had been some sort of warranty given as this product is not cheap.If I come up with the funds I might give it another try.

I ordered this product for my wife who is diabetic. Some time ago I had read in the medical journal of a well known doctor that berberine was one of the best natural substances to lower blood glucose levels. So when I saw this product under the Amazon health section, I ordered it for my wife and yes, using it as directed, it has been lowering my wife's glucose numbers. I have been very satisfied and positively impressed. Now it has been several months using this product and sometimes I have had to cut back to one (1) pill a day instead of two (2) as suggested because her glucose levels go too low. My wife has had diabetes for about thirty years. She is under doctor's care. She was using two different types of insulin to help keep her glucose levels in check. She is still under doctor's care, but we have been able to suspend one of the insulin injections and reduce the amount of the other. The only change that we did was to begin to use this supplement of Berberine/Cinnamon.

I just recently started taking berberine, hoping to reduce my A1c level. My last test showed a small reduction, which I attribute to the berberine, so I'm happy. These capsules are easy to swallow and leave no aftertaste. I was somewhat reluctant to try these with the cinnamon, but it doesn't cause any problems. I haven't notices any weight changes yet, but that isn't why I'm taking it, so no big deal. I will continue taking this berberine and update this review after my next A1c checkup.
