Premium Rubber Door Stop, Non-Scratching Wedge for Large Door Gaps, Tall Type Design - Brown

Effective. The doors where I live drive me mad, if you could consider doors "patchwork" then that is what they would be. Some won't stay open, some have huge gaps under them between the floor and the door base, others scuff on the carpet, some are lightweight and others are heavy - but I will say one thing - every single one of them is annoying. Could never find a door stop that didn't get in the way or wouldn't cause me to stub my toe at least once a week, and I could never find a door wedge that could fit under every door or handle the weight effectively. These do the trick though. The shape allows them to be shimmied and jimmied under all the doors in the house and the wedge can be turned over to accomodate all kinds of shapes and holes, it's great. It even has the right rubber texture that makes it slightly flexible but stiff enough to hold a heavy door - with grip as well. They literally feel like they were made for this patchwork door house I live in, and it's great! They're not much to look at - but then again, neither are you.

What can I say . You slide it under a door and it stays open . Doesn’t slip on Lino , tiles or carpet . There , I did find something to say .

Not great at stopping the patio doors. A slight wind and the door goes.

I needed something for a huge gap, and this really does the job, pricey, but nothing else worked, so worth the money I spent. The only door stop to hold my door open. All other ones the door just slid over them like they wasn’t there!

This is a good, solid chunk of rubber. We have a door that opens over a recessed mat, so normal stops aren't tall enough to jam against the door. Problem solved. It feels like it'll last very well.

The front door to my flat has an unusually large gap and I was struggling to find an appropriate door stop. This does the trick. Solidly made and holds the door firmly.

I'm using it on a outside door onto a tile surface and it just doesn't work. 30km gusts are just blowing the door with ease. Not impressed..

Will wedge the door open if it is actually pushed under the door. But does not stay in position if the door swings open against it - then the wedge just slides on the floor. Also, because the wedge is quite narrow it falls on its side easily.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that this one lasts longer than the last one. I needed something that would keep a door open with a clearance of more than 1 1/2 inches. This one works very well. It hasn't moved since I placed it. It doesn't look very sturdy, but it's working. I'm very pleased.

it is to thick to go under a normal door

With the grippy looking bottom, I thought this would be the perfect door stop for my stamped concrete surface. Unfortunately it will be returned. Not only is the door stop made of hard rubber that isn't sticky, it is only about an inch wide and it tips over when you try and wedge it under the door.

I have a washing machine that often moves out of place when in the final spin cycle. We've done everything to prevent this, i.e. making sure it's balanced, etc. Never had a machine do this before. I got the idea that perhaps a heavy-duty rubber door stopper would help. I found this product and purchased two. Works like a charm, and on cement floor! The machine is stable and stays put! I think the design is brilliant.

While these are clearly Chinese made (the packaging is all in Chinese, no English), the height of these are perfect to let me put the door stop under the door of my Anderson French doors and the quality is good. They are a solid hard rubber and don't flex much but do have some flexibility. They have ridges on the side that goes under the door to help hold them in place. The bottom of my French doors sits 1-2 inches above the floor when they are open and other door stops didn't hold the door well, either the door could slide over the top of other stops or the stop didn't grip the floor and slid with the door. These don't slide on the floor much and they are tall enough to make good contact with the door.
