Was waiting until she used it to review, and she loves it. She won't be three until April, so if you've got a younger child you are buying for, she's able to use it and has been having fun with it since Christmas. I don't live close to her, and can't wait to see the pictures she sends me.

This was a birthday gift for a 4 yr old. Amazing. She loves it. It's held up despite being stolen by little brothers, dropped out of strollers and thrown in the kiddie pool.The pictures are the best gift for Mom, seeing the world through her lense is amazing.If you're on the fence, just buy it. You won't regret it.

TL;DR - Really great camera for kids with good quality and secure waterproof housingI was a little hesitant about the quality given the cheap price but it's for an 8-year-old to use while she's in the pool. When we opened the box I was even more concerned as the camera itself seems like it's just a plastic shell - like a toy you'd get to play with other toys not anything actually functional. Boy was I pleasantly surprised!It's light weight is great for holding/carrying by little hands. The picture quality was a little grainy even when set to the highest MP but this is a kid's camera we aren't doing portraits here lol. The video quality especially underwater was out of this world compared to what I was expecting. The kids had a great time filming themselves swimming and jumping in the pool and some of the pictures they took came out beautifully.The kids were able to figure out how to navigate the control menus pretty quickly. I loved that it comes with so much - the memory card, the mounting gear, the waterproof housing, the lanyard, etc.The only downside I've found is there is no focus feature so if you're not close to the camera it becomes blurry, "action" while filming like running or riding a bike (using the mounting gear included) makes the audio so garbled and loud but you with a little tweaking in a video editing program you can mute that out and put music over it.They're having a great time using it in the pool, on the playground, on the scooter, in the bowling alley, and more. Easy for them to carry, plenty of accessories for them, super easy to use, so far pretty durable. Definitely recommend.

I bought this for a birthday gift for a nine year old. She absolutely loves it! She takes it on outings, in the pool and makes videos of her woodland animal toys. It seems well made and she can easily charge it when the battery is low.

Randomly deleted a ton of pictures and now won’t turn on. If I plug it in, it charges up to 100%, but still won’t turn on.

Bought as a gift for a 10 year old boy, and he absolutely loved it. He was taking pictures in and out of the pool, and figured out how to use the filters and play games like no one’s business

If you're looking for the perfect gift for birthdays, Christmas this is the one to get forsure. My child loves taking pictures with my phone. So a camera was the perfect gift for him. The camera fit perfectly in his hands. He even left the camera outside in the storm and it's Truly waterproof and the battery last for a long time as well.
